Abstract: Disclosed are embodiments for pairing wearable electronic devices, such as smart rings. The paired smart rings are configured so as to provide access to certain resources requiring a higher level of security. In some embodiments, a credential is sharable between the two devices. Thus, a bank manager is able to transfer a credential providing access to bank resources to a second bank employee. The bank manager is able to configure is time and/or use limit on the transferred credential. Thus, for example, by transferring the credential, the bank manager is able to delete certain authority to the bank employee while also limiting that authority as appropriate.

Abstract: A system providing self-service access to locked merchandise comprising: (a) providing a fixture that restricts access to the locked merchandise, wherein the fixture can automatically lock or unlock, allowing or restricting access to the locked merchandise; (b) providing a means of uniquely identifying an individual attempting to access the merchandise; (c) measuring a set of behaviors of the individual during any time the fixture is an open mode; (d) assessing whether the set of behaviors of the individual are suspicious or not relative to a set of suspicious event thresholds; (e) storing the individual and their set of behaviors as accessible records in at least one database; and (f) providing an algorithm which determines future access privileges of the individual to the enclosure based on a set of variables. Additionally, a system for maximizing sales of and minimizing theft of merchandise in a retail environment, the system comprising: (a) providing a merchandise fixture, wherein the merchandise fixture can allow or restrict access to the merchandise; (b) presenting a questionnaire to an individual; (c) providing a means of uniquely identifying the individual attempting to access the merchandise; and (d) allowing or restricting access to the merchandise based on the individual's responses to the questionnaire.

Abstract: A secure package delivery and pick-up system includes a security door having a frame, and one or more collapsible storage compartments affixed to the frame. The collapsible storage compartments are configured for accommodating packages. An electronic unit is mounted on the frame, and is configured for electronically controlling an operation for the collapsible storage compartments. A security device is connected to the security door and receives images of a physical object from a first camera, receives an indication from at least one security tether indicating movement of the at least one physical object, and provides an alert based on the indication of movement of the at least one physical object.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates a set of electronic keys for an electronic lock. The set of electronic keys includes at least one passive electronic key having a passive digital key, and at least one active electronic key having an active digital key. Each of passive and active electronic keys includes a communication channel and an electronic key power supply port. The active electronic key includes electrical power source providing electrical power supply to the active electronic key itself, the electronic lock and the passive electronic key through the electronic lock to operate the electronic lock. When both active and passive electronic keys are inserted into respective electronic keyholes of the electronic lock, both active and passive digital keys are transmitted to the electronic lock, the electronic lock can be locked and unlocked only when both active and passive digital keys received match prestored active and passive digital keys respectively.

Abstract: An electronic lockbox with a single sensor that can detect both the position of a key compartment component (or a movable key bin) and the presence of a removable key fob (attached to a building key). The key compartment includes a first magnet and the removable key fob includes a second magnet. The single sensor can detect the presence of neither magnet, the first magnet alone, or both the first and second magnet together. If neither magnet is detected, then the key compartment (movable bin) is open. If only the first magnet is detected, then the key compartment (movable bin) has been closed without the removable key fob. If both the first and second magnets are detected, then the key compartment (movable bin) is closed with the removable key fob inside the movable bin.
