Abstract:
A tamper-proof enclosure for an electrical card, such as a high speed communications card, includes an enclosure in which the card is mounted. The enclosure has a wall with an opening, and a cup member is attached to the wall at the opening. A bus that is connected to the card extends through a passage in the cup member and through the opening in the wall. A security mesh is wrapped around the enclosure. The cup member is filled with liquid resin, which is also coated onto the security mesh. After the resin is cured, the resin in the cup member forms a plug that seals the security mesh from inner pressure when the enclosure is heated to an elevated temperature. The resin is preferably polyamide.
Abstract:
A highly dense form of static random-access memory (SRAM) takes advantage of transistor gates on both sides of silicon and high interconnectivity made possible by the complex form of silicon-on-insulator and three-dimensional integration. This technology allows one to form p-channel and n-channel devices very compactly by taking advantage of placement of gates on both sides, making common contacts and dense interconnections in 3D.
Abstract:
Aqueous solutions of diterpenes such as Forskolin, its congeners, analogs and derivatives, up to approximately 6% concentration, are prepared using suitably substituted cyclodextrin as a solubilizing agents. In the absence of cyclodextrin, some diterpenes such as Forskolin are soluble in water only to concentrations of about 0.001%. Such aqueous solutions find applications in topical and systemic use, as pharmaceutical, cosmeceutical, nutraceutical preparations containing diterpenes such as Forskolin and congeners.
Abstract:
Remotely executing programs access hardware components and upload component management information from these hardware components bypassing the operating system otherwise controlling the hardware components. A web-based browser application executes on a personal computer that is coupled to the Internet and accesses the hardware component information. Another computer that is also connected to the Internet hosts the hardware components that the web-based browser application wishes to access. The operating system of the second computer controls the operation of the hardware components. An adapter routine executing on an intermediate server, to which the hardware components are coupled and are capable of transferring component information in a predetermined format, serves as an intermediary between the web-based browser application and the hardware components. The format that the data is being transferred from the hardware components to the adapter routine is not compatible with the web-based browser application. The adapter routine converts data from the hardware components to a format acceptable to the web-based browser application, such as, for example, XML over HTTP, or any other computer language acceptable to the web-based browser application. The adapter routine also converts commands from the web-based browser application to the predetermined format required by the hardware components, such as, for example, IPMI or DMI. The web-based browser application interacts with the hardware components in a way that was heretofore not possible.
Abstract:
A semiconductor memory and a method of producing the memory, includes a transistor including a first gate having an oxide, and a channel, and a back-plane including a second gate and an oxide thereover, the second gate formed opposite to the channel of the transistor, the second gate including a floating gate, wherein a thickness of the oxide of the back-plane is separately scalable from an oxide of the first gate of the transistor.
Abstract:
The present invention provides methods for treating Cryptosporidium parvum in a subject in need of such treatment. The methods comprises administering to the subject a compound of Formula I: ##STR1##
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method of fluorescent detection of a nucleic acid. The method comprises contacting to the nucleic acid a bis-dicationic aryl furan compound, such as 2,5-bis[4-(4,5,6,7-tetrahydro-1H-1,3-diazepin-2-yl) phenyl] furan; 2,5-bis{[4-(N-isopropyl) amidino] phenyl}furan; and physiologically acceptable salts thereof, and exposing the nucleic acid to light at a frequency to induce fluorescence of the compound. A method for fluorescent detection of cytoskeleton elements, and novel bis-dicationic aryl furan compounds are also disclosed.
Abstract:
A method and system to reduce card transaction fee while enabling the payment from dynamically mapped retail cards. Being a mapping and API based solution, technical integration with any bank is much easier with very less cost while enabling the easy future enhancements. With this Solution customer will map all his retail card to any one credit card on app and while making the payments solutions will enable bank to take payment from the respective retail card for retailer. With this mapping-based solution customer will get same functionality, if due to any reason he is not able to use his mobile for payment and use the credit card mapped.
Abstract:
The present invention is directed to simple a cultivar of the flax plant (Linum usitatissimum) which produces a novel profile of linolenic acid. The plant, the oil products and the unique genes of the cultivar are described. A cultivar producing a seed with high concentration of alpha linolenic acid is further described by genome profile including cDNA and simple sequence repeat (SSR or microsatellite) regions. The cultivar can also be identified by its novel flaxseed oil profile.
