Abstract: A system, process and software that incorporate the subject disclosure may include, for example, identifying a condition that causes an impaired perception of an original media content item during a presentation. A media content modification is determined, wherein application of the media content modification to the original media content item results in a modified media content item. The modified media content item, when presented to the media presentation device, ameliorates the impaired perception of the media content item. The media content modification is applied to the original media content item resulting in the modified media content item. The modified media content item is presented at the media presentation device contemporaneously with the original media content item, allowing different viewers to observe the modified media content item simultaneously with the original. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Abstract: Methods, computer-readable media, and apparatuses for adjusting a network-controllable physical resource of a sensory service in response to biometric data for a group of users are disclosed. In one example, a processing system including at least one processor may gather biometric data of each user of a group of users of a sensory service. The sensory service may comprise at least one network-controllable physical resource. The processing system may then aggregate the biometric data for the group of users and tailor the sensory service for the group of users based upon the biometric data for the group of users that is aggregated. In one example, the tailoring of the sensory service may include adjusting the at least one network-controllable physical resource in response to the biometric data that is aggregated for the group of users.

Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, systems and methods aggregating video content and adjusting the aggregate video content according to a training model. The adjusted aggregate video content comprises a first subset of the images and does not comprise a second subset of the images. The first subset of the images is determined by the training model based on a plurality of categories corresponding to a plurality of events. The illustrative embodiments also include presenting the adjusted aggregate video content and receiving identifications for the first subset of the images in the aggregate video content. Further, the illustrative embodiments include adjusting the training model according to the identifications and providing the adjusted training model to a network device. Abstract: A system embodying the subject disclosure includes a memory to store instructions. A controller coupled to the memory, responsive to executing the instructions, can perform operations including obtaining performance characteristics for segments of a network; the segments are selected based on a trajectory of a mobile device coupled to the network. The controller can predict future transport and segment characteristics based on the performance characteristics. The controller can receive a request from the mobile device for transmission of a data packet over the network. The controller can monitor a power state of the mobile device and predict a future power state of the mobile device. The controller can determine a target time for fulfilling the request, based on the future power state and the future transport and segment characteristics. The controller can schedule a time for fulfilling the request according to the target time. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Abstract: Methods, computer-readable media, and devices are disclosed for improving an object model based upon measurements of physical properties of an object via an unmanned vehicle using adversarial examples. For example, a method may include a processing system capturing measurements of physical properties of an object via at least one unmanned vehicle, updating an object model for the object to include the measurements of the physical properties of the object, where the object model is associated with a feature space, and generating an example from the feature space, where the example comprises an adversarial example. The processing system may further apply the object model to the example to generate a prediction, capture additional measurements of the physical properties of the object via the at least one unmanned vehicle when the prediction fails to identify that the example is an adversarial example, and update the object model to include the additional measurements.

For example, the method receives first data that is measured via at least one sensor deployed at a venue, receives second data from at least one user endpoint device present at the venue, wherein the second data comprises data that is measured via a sensor associated with the at least one user endpoint device, applies a perception model of the venue to the first data and the second data that are received, generates at least one recommended action when a threshold is reached, wherein the threshold is established for generating the at least one recommended action, and provides an update to the perception model of the venue based on the at least one recommended action that is generated.

Abstract: A system that incorporates the subject disclosure may perform operations, for example, including determining a first correlation value between a behavior of a first audience member and a subject matter being presented at a display processor, wherein the subject matter being presented at the display is observable by the first audience member. A second correlation value is determined between the behavior of the first audience member and a characteristic of an environment in a vicinity of the display and the first audience member. Responsive to the second correlation value exceeding the first correlation value, a determination is made as to whether a present channel selection resulting from user input initiated by the first audience member is responsive to the characteristic of the environment influencing the audience member more than the subject matter being presented at the display. Other embodiments are disclosed.

The portion corresponds to an object represented in the image. The method also includes accessing object category metrics associated with an object category corresponding to the object. The method includes generating a notification indicating that the image data has been altered in response to a result of a comparison of the object quality values to the object category metrics. The result indicates alteration of the portion of the image data.

Abstract: A method, apparatus, and computer readable medium for identifying a person in an image includes an image analyzer. The image analyzer determines the content of an image such as a person, location, and object shown in the image. A person in the image may be identified based on the content and event data stored in a database. Event data includes information concerning events and related people, locations, and objects determined from other images and information. Identification metadata is generated and linked to each analyzed image and comprises information determined during image analysis. Tags for images are generated based on identification metadata. The event database can be queried to identify particular people, locations, objects, and events depending on a user's request.
