A method for fabricating fine line and space routing described. The method includes providing a substrate having a dielectric layer and a seed layer disposed thereon. An anti-reflective coating layer and a photo-resist layer are then formed above the seed layer. The photo-resist layer and the anti-reflective coating layer are patterned to form a patterned photo-resist layer and a patterned anti-reflective coating layer, to expose a first portion of the seed layer, and to leave covered a second portion of the seed layer. A metal layer is then formed on the first portion of the seed layer, between features of the patterned photo-resist layer and the patterned anti-reflective coating layer. The patterned photo-resist layer and the patterned anti-reflective coating layer are subsequently removed. Then, the second portion of the seed layer is removed to provide a series of metal lines above the dielectric layer.

The rectifier receives a voltage from an external AC power and outputs a single-direction pulsed voltage. The switch control circuit enabled or disenabled by means of a control signal received from the voltage comparator circuit. One of the input terminals of the voltage comparator circuit accepts a constant reference voltage.

A system and method for regulating real-time the heartbeat frequency of the host according to the user-requested frequency, wherein the heartbeat frequency of the host is regulated through the service request signal sent from the user's end to the host by making use of a cluster system comprising a host and a backup host. Firstly, a frequency correspondence table is established. The host and the backup host transmit signals to each other at a predetermined frequency, which is set to the most recent heartbeat frequency of the host. Then the transmitting times of a plurality of service request signals are recorded to calculate the frequency of the most recent service request signal. Finally, the most recent heartbeat frequency of the host and the frequency of the most recent service request signal are compared to determine if the heartbeat frequency of the host needs to be regulated.

MEMS devices of preferred embodiments permit a leak-tight seal to be formed around the microchannel and fluidic interconnects established for robust operation of fluidics-based processes. MEMS devices of other preferred embodiments permit reversible attachment and separation of the encapsulation membrane relative to the patterned structure.
