Abstract: A downlink transmission method and a corresponding base station and terminal are provided. In some feasible implementations, a base station sends downlink control information to a terminal in a subframe n+k, where the downlink control information includes indication information and a HARQ process identification, the indication information is used to indicate a location of at least one OFDM symbol in data that is sent by the base station to the terminal in a subframe n, the HARQ process identification in the downlink control information is the same as a HARQ process identification in the subframe n, and both n and k are natural numbers; and the base station transmits, in the subframe n+k, at least data that is sent to the terminal and that is on the at least one OFDM symbol that is in the subframe n and that is indicated by the indication information.

Abstract: This application provides a data communication method, a terminal, and a base station. In one embodiment, the terminal receives a first demodulation reference signal based on a first physical resource block index, wherein the first physical resource block index is determined based on a first location in frequency domain, and the first demodulation reference signal is usable for demodulating a first data channel for carrying a system information block; the terminal sends and/or receives a second demodulation reference signal based on a second physical resource block index, wherein the second physical resource block index is determined based on a second location in frequency domain, and the second demodulation reference signal is usable for demodulating a second data channel other than the first data channel.

Abstract: This disclosure relates to the mobile communications field, and in particular, to data transmission technologies in the mobile communications field. In a data transmission method, a base station allocates, to a terminal, some of time domain symbols that are used for data transmission and that are in a scheduling period of the terminal, and the terminal performs data transmission based on the allocated time domain symbols. According to the method, time domain symbols in the scheduling period that originally belong to the terminal are punctured, a resource waste caused when the terminal occupies all time domain symbols that are used for data transmission and that are in the scheduling period during scheduling each time can be avoided, so that radio resources can be flexibly allocated based on requirements on delays and bandwidth, thereby improving resource utilization.

Abstract: A method, system, and device to obtain a basic subcarrier spacing, or a channel bandwidth, or a maximum transmission bandwidth, or a usable subcarrier spacing set via a predefined mapping rule is provided. In an embodiment, a method in a network component to determine a system numerology includes determining, by the network component, one or more subcarrier spacing options from a candidate subcarrier spacing set that is associated with a carrier frequency band. The method also includes transmitting, by the network component, a signal indicating to one or more UEs one or more subcarrier spacing options from the candidate subcarrier spacing set.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a base station, user equipment (UE), and a carrier scheduling indication method to resolve a problem that signaling overheads are relatively large. An embodiment method includes generating, by a processing unit, a carrier assignment indication (CAI) field of a current scheduled carrier according to scheduling statuses of all configured carriers, where the CAI field is used to indicate a total quantity of scheduled carriers in all the configured carriers and an accumulative index value M of the current scheduled carrier, and M represents that the current scheduled carrier is the Mth scheduled carrier from the 1st configured carrier to the current scheduled carrier; and sending, by a sending unit, downlink control information digital control information (DCI), by carrying the CAI field generated by the processing unit to the DCI, to UE by using the current scheduled carrier disclosed in the present embodiments shall fall within the protection scope of the present embodiments. Therefore, the protection scope of the present embodiments shall be subject to the protection scope of the claims.

Abstract: A resource allocation method to resolve a problem that a transport block of a typical enhanced voice service (EVS) scenario in an air interface is much smaller than a transport block of a conventional adaptive multi rate (AMR), and use of a resource allocation method in the existing long term evolution (LTE) causes a waste of user spectrum resources such that spectrum utilization in an EVS scenario can be improved. The method includes determining resource allocation information and resource allocation block indication information, where the resource allocation information includes information indicating at least one fractional resource block (FRB) allocated to user equipment, and the resource allocation block indication information indicates that a resource allocation block is the FRB, where a resource occupied by the FRB is less than one RB, and notifying the user equipment of the resource allocation information and the resource allocation block indication information.
