Abstract: A female terminal downsized in a male terminal-inserting direction. A terminal body has a reception portion, for receiving a male terminal. A first and second spring portions are arranged to be opposed to each other so as to sandwich the male terminal inserted into the reception portion from an inlet portion thereof. The first spring portion has a first and second contact points brought into contact with the sale terminal in the reception portion. The second spring portion has a third contact point brought into contact with the stale terminal in the reception portion. The third contact point is between the first and second, contact points in the male terminal-inserting direction. The first contact point is in the inlet portion of the reception portion, and the second contact point is at a more inward location in the reception portion than the first contact point.

Abstract: An optical module includes a first optical block (OB) which is mounted on a substrate and a second OB which holds an optical fiber. When orthogonal X and Z directions are parallel to a substrate surface and a direction orthogonal thereto is a Y direction, the first OB includes a base part and two extending parts which extend in the Z direction. The second OB is configured to be accommodated between the two extending parts from the upper side of the Y direction and to be moved in the Z direction between the two extending parts. Positioning parts for positioning the second OB with respect to the first OB in the X and Y directions are formed on the second OB. An extending direction of the optical fiber held by the second OB is the Z direction and a light traveling direction between the base part and the second OB is the Z direction.

Abstract: In an open position, a power-supply terminal and a detection terminal are not connected to a mating power-supply terminal and a mating detection terminal, respectively. In a predetermined position, the power-supply terminal is connected to the mating power-supply terminal while the detection terminal is not connected to the mating detection terminal. In a closed position, the power-supply terminal and the detection terminal are connected to the mating power-supply terminal and the mating detection terminal, respectively. When the connector is turned toward the predetermined position from the closed position, a first regulating portion regulates a first regulated portion to prevent the connector from reaching the predetermined position. When the connector is turned toward the predetermined position after the regulation is released, a second regulating portion regulates a second regulated portion to prevent the connector from being turned toward the open position beyond the predetermined position.

Abstract: A connector has contacts and a housing having holding grooves which accommodate the contacts. Each of the holding grooves has an inner wall extending in a first direction. Each of the contacts has a fixed portion, a contact arm portion and a support arm portion. The fixed portion is fixed to a corresponding one of the holding grooves. The contact arm portion and the support arm portion extend from the fixed portion in the first direction and are disposed apart from each other in a second direction. The contact arm portion has a contact point and is resiliently deformable to move the contact point in the second direction. The support arm portion comes into contact with the inner wall of the corresponding one of the holding grooves at least when the contact arm portion is resiliently deformed so that the contact point comes close to the support arm portion.

Abstract: A differential signal connector includes a plurality of pairs of signal contacts, a plurality of ground contacts, and an insulating housing holding the signal contacts and the ground contacts. On a first connection side for connection to a connection partner, the ground contacts are arranged on both sides of each pair of signal contacts so that a contact array of a fixed pitch is formed. On a second connection side for connection to a board, the ground contacts are arranged spaced apart from each other in a first row, while the pairs of signal contacts, which are adjacently arranged on both sides of the ground contact on the first connection side, are arranged so as to be allocated in a second row and a third row located on both sides of the first row so that the pairs of signal contacts are arranged zigzag on the second connection side.
