Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for configuring dual connectivity for a terminal by a base station in a wireless communication system and an apparatus for the same. The method for configuring the dual connectivity for the terminal by the base station in the wireless communication system according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: receiving a service request message from a terminal connected to a first base station; transmitting, to a second base station, a handover request message including a request for configuring dual connectivity with the terminal when the service request message includes a service that the first base station cannot support; and transmitting, to the terminal, a connectivity configuration message indicating connectivity between the terminal and the second base station on the basis of a handover response message received from the second base station in response to the handover request message.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for handling duplicated evolved universal terrestrial radio access network (E-UTRAN) radio access bearers (E-RABs) for dual connectivity in a wireless communication system is provided. A mobility management entity (MME) receives an E-RAB modification indication message including several E-RAB identifiers (IDs) set to the same value, and triggers a user equipment (UE) context release procedure with a cause value.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for performing QoE management based on AI model in a wireless communication system is provided. A RAN node transmits a Quality of Experience (QoE) configuration including one or more of QoE parameters. A RAN node receives a QoE report for the one or more of QoE parameters. A RAN node trains an AI model using the one or more QoE parameters as inputs.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a power saving in wireless communications. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a method performed by a central unit (CU) of a secondary node (SN) serving a wireless device with a master node (MN) in a dual connectivity (DC) in a wireless communication system comprises: transmitting, to a distributed unit (DU) of the SN, a first message comprising an instruction to deactivate one or more cells in a secondary cell group (SCG) related to the SN, wherein the one or more cells comprise a primary secondary cell (PSCell); receiving, from the DU, a second message comprising information informing a successful deactivation of the one or more cells; determining a list of cells to be activated in the SCG based on at least one of an amount of packets received by the CU or a measurement report received from the wireless device, wherein the list of cells comprises the PSCell; transmitting, to the DU, a third message comprising information informing the list of cells to be activated in the SCG; and receiving, from the DU, a fourth message comprising information informing a successful activation of the list of cells.
Abstract:
Provided are a method and apparatus for: access to a stand-alone non-public network (SNPN) by using credential owned by an entity separated from the SNPN; and support for an F1 interface therefor. User Equipment (UE) operating in a wireless communication system receives system information from the stand-alone non-public network (SNPN). The system information includes information about whether or not the SNPN supports underconfigured UE. The UE transmits a first registration request message to the SNPN, on the basis of the information about whether or not to support the underconfigured UE, and receives, from the SNPN, a registration reject message as a response to same. The registration reject message includes information about home SPs supported by the SNPN. The UE performs registration by selecting at least one home SP from which the UE desires to receive a service from among the home SPs supported by the SNPN.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for support of service continuity for handover between stand-alone non-public network (SNPN) and public land mobile network (PLMN) is provided. A session management function (SMF) of a first network transmits, to a user plane function (UPF) of the first network, a duplication request for the UPF of the first network to duplicate downlink (DL) data and send the duplicated DL data to both a next generation radio access network (NG-RAN) of the first network and a non-3GPP interworking function (N3IWF) of the first network. The SMF of the first network further transmits, to the N3IWF of the first network, a data buffering request for the N3IWF of the first network to buffer the duplicated DL data.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for handling security information between a wireless device and a network for a fast RRC release procedure in a wireless communication system will be provided. A core network node in a wireless communication system receives, from a radio access network (RAN) node, a UE context resume request message including a fast Radio Resource Control (RRC) release indication. The fast RRC release indication informs that the RAN node transmits an RRC release message to a wireless device before the core network node receives the UE context resume request message. A core network node determines to stop computation of new security information for the wireless device based on the fast RRC release indication. A core network node transmits a UE context resume response message to the RAN node.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for supporting UP security for MO-EDT in CU-DU split in a wireless communication system is provided. A central unit (CU) receives, from a distributed unit (DU), a first message including a PDCP Data PDU, wherein the PDCP Data PDU is configured by a wireless device. A CU calculates a HASHDATA from the PDCP Data PDU. A CU verifies a Short MAC-I of the wireless device based on the HASHDATA. A CU transmits, to the DU, a second message to setup a UE context for the wireless device in the DU based on the verification.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for mobility enhancement for a new radio access technology (NR) in a wireless communication system is provided. A target base station receives a handover request message including information related to a conditional handover from a source base station, and transmits a cancel message including information related to a cancel of the conditional handover to the source base station.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for preventing loss of uplink data in wireless communication system is provided. A central unit (CU) of an integrated access and backhaul (IAB)-donor receives, from a wireless device, uplink data through a source IAB-node. The CU of the IAB-donor receives, from the source IAB-node, a message which informs that uplink packets among the uplink data are remained on the source IAB-node, wherein the message is related to handover procedures of the wireless device from the source IAB-node to a target IAB-node. The CU of the IAB-donor proceeds the handover procedures, after receiving the uplink packets.
