Abstract:
According to an embodiment of the present specification, a method of transmitting a frame in a wireless local area network (WLAN) includes: receiving, by a user station (STA), a multi user-request to send (MU-RTS) frame from an access point (AP) to protect transmission for multi-users, wherein the MU-RTS frame includes common information commonly allocated to the multi-users, user-specific information individually allocated to the multi-users, and a control indicator indicating a first operation mode using a first channel and a second channel contiguous to the first channel and a second operation mode using the first channel and a third channel non-contiguous to the first channel; and transmitting, by the user STA, a clear to send (CTS) frame to the AP according to the control indicator in response to the MU-RTS frame.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a power save mode-based operating method and apparatus in a wireless LAN. The power save mode-based operating method in a wireless LAN comprises the steps of: receiving, by an STA, overheard BSS information from an AP; receiving, by the STA, a PPDU, wherein the PPDU includes information on a BSS having transmitted the PPDU; determining, by the STA, whether the overheard BSS information includes the information on the BSS; and switching an awake state to a doze state when the STA determines whether the overheard BSS information includes the information on the BSS, wherein the overheard BSS information can include the information on at least one overheard BSS for transmitting a frame enabled to be overheard by the AP.
Abstract:
Proposed is a method for determining transmission using a network allocation vector (NAV) in a wireless LAN system. Specifically, after a receiving device receives a trigger frame, which triggers an uplink multiple user transmission, from a transmitting device, whether to transmit an uplink physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU) corresponding to the trigger frame is determined using the NAV of the receiving device. In this case, if the NAV is established by an intra-basic service set (BSS) frame, whether to transmit the uplink PPDU is determined without taking the NAV into consideration.
Abstract:
This specification proposes a signal processing method for changing an operating mode for transmitting a PPDU in a wireless LAN system. More specifically, a first station transmits request information requesting for a change in the operating mode to a second station. The first station transmits a first PPDU supporting a first wireless LAN system to the second station based on the request information. The first station receives a Block ACK (BA) as a response to the first PPDU. The request information includes delay time information indication a time during which indication information is applied.
Abstract:
The present document relates to a wireless communication system and, more specifically, to a method for flexibly supporting resource allocation in a wireless LAN system, and a method and an apparatus for signal transmission using the same. To this end, a first STA configures a radio frame comprising: a signaling (SIG) field including control information; and a data field in which data can be transmitted via a discontinuous channel or a channel having a bandwidth size that is supported by a legacy system. When the first STA transmits the configured radio frame to a second STA, the SIG field preferably comprises: information about a full bandwidth in which data can be transmitted via the data field; and null indicator information indicating a channel region of the full bandwidth that is not used in data transmission, or used channel indicator information indicating a channel region of the full bandwidth that is used in data transmission.
Abstract:
A method for performing, by a station (STA) apparatus, uplink (UL) multi-user (MU) transmission in a wireless communication system according to an embodiment of the present invention includes performing carrier sensing on a channel, receiving a trigger frame including information for UL MU transmission and a carrier sense indicator indicating whether a result of the carrier sensing is to be reflected from an access point (AP), and transmitting an UL MU frame through the channel based on the information for UL MU transmission. The UL MU frame is transmitted through the channel based on a result of the carrier sensing if the carrier sense indicator indicates the reflection of a result of the carrier sensing. The UL MU frame is transmitted through the channel regardless of a result of the carries sensing if the carrier sense indicator does not indicate the reflection of a result of the carrier sensing.
Abstract:
The present specification suggests a signal processing method for changing an operating mode to configure a PPDU in a wireless local area network (WLAN) system. Specifically, a first station receives indication information indicating a change in operating mode that indicates a number of spatial streams and a receiving channel bandwidth that are supported by a second station from the second station. The first station transmits a block acknowledgement (BA) in response to the indication information, the BA including a first delay required bit. The first station defers applying the indication information so that the indication information is not applied when the first delay required bit is a predetermined value.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and apparatus for power saving mode-based operation in a wireless LAN. A method for power saving mode-based operation in a wireless LAN can comprise the steps of: an STA performing an initial configuration procedure for configuring a TIM-based power saving mode and an AP; the STA being converted from a doze state to an awake state, on the basis of a transmission period of a beacon frame, by operating in the TIM-based power saving mode on the basis of the initial configuration procedure, and thereby receiving a first downlink frame from the AP; the STA receiving from the AP operation mode configuration information indicating conversion from the TIM-based power saving mode to an active mode; and the STA receiving, on the basis of the active mode, a second downlink frame from the AP.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and a device for operation based on a power save mode in a WLAN. The method for operation based on a power save mode may comprise steps in which: an STA, which has been switched to an awake state, transmits a PS-poll frame to an AP on the basis of the transmission cycle of a beacon frame; the STA receives an ACK frame from the AP in response to the PS-poll frame; after receiving the ACK frame, the STA overhears a different BSS frame; and within a preset time upon overhearing the different BSS frame, the STA determines whether or not to maintain the awake state on the basis of whether or not a power management control frame has been transmitted from the AP.
Abstract:
The present document relates to a wireless communication system and, more particularly, to a method for performing retransmission in a wireless LAN system to which transmission opportunity (TXOP) sharing is applied, and a device therefor. To this end, a station transmits an initial transmission frame including primary access category (AC) information and secondary access category (AC) information; and when there is no response to the secondary AC information of the initial transmission frame, reconfigures a back-off timer value for the secondary AC information and retransmits the secondary AC information according to the reconfigured back-off timer value.
