Abstract: Disclosed is a method for receiving a synchronization signal, comprising: respectively receiving, from a plurality of base stations, a plurality of synchronization signals generated by using a phase pattern vector set, which is nested orthogonal and hierarchically configured; measuring a sequence index and an index of a phase pattern vector for the plurality of synchronization signals; selecting, among the plurality of base stations, a base station having the highest correlation value calculated as a measurement result; and establishing a connection with the selected base station, wherein the phase pattern vector set has different phase pattern vectors for changing a phase of a synchronization signal sequence up to a predetermined repetition number.

Abstract: Disclosed is a communication method of a terminal utilizing outdated channel information in a two-cell, three-user network environment, the method comprising: transmitting nine different first linear combinations to a first base station in each time slot during a first time interval; receiving a first feedback signal from a second base station which has received the first linear combination as an interference signal; transmitting four different second linear combinations to the first base station during a first sub-time interval of a third time interval; receiving a second feedback signal from the second base station which has received the second linear combinations as an interference signal; and transmitting reconfiguration signals consisting of eight data symbols to the first base station during a third sub-time interval of the third time interval. Further, a communication method of a base station corresponding to such a terminal is also disclosed.

Abstract: A method and device for transmitting data symbols using an antenna correlation in a wireless access system supporting multiple input/multiple output (MIMO) operations. Here, antennas with a highest correlation are grouped into two or more antenna subgroups. Also, two antenna subgroups, of which a correlation is lowest from the two or more antenna subgroups, are selected among the two or more antenna subgroups by the receiving end.
