    摘要: Mobile stations, base stations, radio network controllers and communication systems perform according to the hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) protocol for transmitting data packets from a transmitting entity to a receiving entity via a data channel. A HARQ method sending synchronous retransmissions involves a feedback message received from the receiving entity at the transmitting entity and, in case the feedback message indicates that the data packet has not been received successfully, a retransmission data packet is transmitted to the receiving entity after a predetermined time span upon having received the feedback message. The receiving entity soft combines the retransmission data packet with the previously received data packet.

The base station (100) includes: an encoding unit (101) for encoding SCH data; a modulation unit (102) for modulating the encoded SCH data; encoding units (103-1 to 103-N) for encoding user data (#1 to #N), modulation units (104-1 to 104-N) for modulating the encoded user data (#1 to #N); a frame format setting unit (105) for setting a frame format of each frame; and an IFFT unit (106) for mapping the SCH data and the user data (#1 to #N) to sub carriers (#1 to #K) and performing IFFT to generate an OFDM symbol. The frame format setting unit (105) changes the data communication sub frame for each frame so as to change the position of the data communication section within a frame for each frame.

By means of this switching control, diversity reception is performed for an HSDPA serving cell only when the total number of simultaneously connected cells has not reached N and there are free resources.

    摘要: A data transfer system capable of lightening the load on a server and reducing the amount of data carried over a network. A search/registration unit of the server determines whether or not shape data in graphics information created by a three-dimensional application is registered in shape cache information and, if not registered, registers the shape data. If the shape data is registered, a data transfer unit replaces the shape data with designation information specifying the corresponding data in the shape cache information to generate graphics differential information, and transmits the generated information to a client. A registration unit of the client registers new shape data in shape cache information in accordance with the graphics differential information. A data restoration unit searches the shape cache information based on the designation information to extract the corresponding shape data, and replaces the designation information with the shape data to restore the graphics information.
