Embodiments disclosed herein provide a method for managing a resource in a wireless communication system. The method includes allocating, by a base station, the resource for a data transmission from a User Equipment (UE) by indicating at least one bandwidth part in a total bandwidth supported by the UE. The resource is further allocated by indicating a Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) and a Physical Downlink Shared Control Channel (PDSCH) according to a configured subcarrier spacing and a CP length within the at least one bandwidth part, and by indicating an allocation of Resource Blocks (RBs) within the at least one bandwidth part.-

Abstract: Embodiments herein provide a method for managing HARQ procedure for multiple numerologies multiplexing in a wireless communication network. Abstract: Methods and systems for determining ICN capability of a node/server. The ICN capability is determined based on DNS resource records or TCP options. The DNS resource records are DNS queries that are sent to a DNS server, for determining the ICN capability of the server. The DNS query includes a content to indicate the intent to determine the ICN capability. If the server is having ICN capability, a DNS response is received from the DNS server, which includes the content that is identical to the content in the DNS query. A server is selected, amongst multiple servers, for transferring ICN packets, based on locations and priorities of the multiple servers, indicated in DNS responses, and an order of issuance of DNS queries to the DNS server. TCP options in the header of TCP packets are used for determining ICN capability of the nodes/servers and parameters pertaining to the ICN capability.

Abstract: A method which allows an evolved node B (eNB) to perform multi-subframe scheduling in enhanced license assisted access (eLAA) is provided. The eNB determining the subframes in a maximum channel occupancy time (MCOT) within which uplink transmission is performed. The eNB schedules resources for uplink transmission by user equipments (UEs) within the determined subframes. The UEs receive index values associated with a first subframe and a last subframe, in the determined subframes from the eNB. The first subframe and last subframe may be within a single, or multiple MCOTs. The UEs perform uplink transmission between the first subframe and the last subframe. The method allows forming a group with the plurality of UEs. A group identity, broadcast by the eNB, is received by the UEs. The method allows scheduling beams for performing uplink transmission by the UEs in 5th generation (5G) systems and scheduling multiple UEs while accounting spectral emissions.

Methods and devices are provided for detecting a synchronized primary synchronization signal (PSS) sequence in a wireless network is provided. A device receives a synchronization signal including a PSS sequence. The device determines a plurality of peak correlation values by correlating a plurality of predefined PSS sequences with time-shifted variants of the received synchronization signal. The device detects the synchronized PSS sequence from the plurality of predefined PSS sequences by analyzing the plurality of peak correlation values using at least one of probability detection values, a sliding window method, weight assignments, and a rewarding-based method.
