Abstract:
A method is provided. The method includes executing a camera application at an electronic device; activating a heart rate monitor (HRM) sensor operatively coupled with a first surface of the electronic device in response to the execution of the camera application; receiving an input signal via the HRM sensor; and capturing, using a processor operatively coupled with the electronic device, an image via an image sensor operatively coupled with a second surface of the electronic device based at least in part on the input signal.
Abstract:
Methods and devices for processing images are disclosed. In various embodiments, an electronic device for processing images may include: a display module to display a first image and a control module to control a process of receiving a second image different from the first image. The control module may be capable of altering the second image in accordance with a block area arranged on the first image, determining an output sequence for the first image and the altered second image, and alternatingly displaying the first image and the altered second image according to the output sequence.
Abstract:
A method and an apparatus for recognizing an iris is provided. The method of recognizing an iris in an electronic apparatus includes displaying a preview image by driving a regular camera, displaying an iris recognition area corresponding to an iris recognition camera in the preview image, determining whether an iris image exists in the iris recognition area, and obtaining image information from the iris recognition camera and performing iris recognition, when the iris image exists in the iris recognition area.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method and apparatus for processing inputs by using a viewing point. The method includes recognizing a viewing point that a user is viewing on a display area functionally connected to an electronic device, obtaining an input on the display area, and determining whether to execute a function corresponding to the input, based on at least one of attributes of the input or the viewing point.
