    摘要: A toy vehicle is provided, including: a body; a spring, power generating unit connected to the body; a plurality of driving wheels connected to the spring, power generating unit through a transmission; a pair of legs mechanically connected to the spring, power generating unit through the transmission; a crank mechanism connected to the legs; a speed control gear mechanism capable of being connected to or disconnected from the transmission by automatic switching motion of a planetary gear meshing with a first gear of the transmission; and a movable actuating member, one end of which contacts the ground when the driving wheels contact the ground, thus moving the other end of the actuating member which disengages the planetary gear from the speed control gear mechanism. When the toy vehicle is placed in the horizontal position on the ground and the spring, power generating unit is wound via forced rotation of the driving wheels, the actuating member is moved to disengage the planetary gear from the speed control gear mechanism and the vehicle is propelled to roll at a high speed. If the toy is then lifted so as to isolate the driving wheels from the ground, the planetary gear moves and meshes with the speed control gear mechanism to shift the mechanism to the low speed mode. Then the driving wheels and the walking legs move at a low speed. If the toy vehicle is then placed in the vertical position on its walking legs, the toy vehicle walks slowly.

    摘要: An electrical mechanical toy has a housing including a base. A small electrical drive motor is mounted on the base and a drive diverter-transmission operatively connects to the drive motor. Also attached to the base is an endless belt mounting member having at least one endless belt mounted thereon such that the endless belt is capable of continuously traveling or orbiting about the mounting member. The drive diverter-transmission is connected to the endless belt such that the endless belt is driven by the drive motor about the mounting member. The endless belt includes at least one obstacle on its surface. An object member is slidably mounted on the base and includes an object attached to the object member and positioned proximal to the surface of the endless belt allowing the object to slide transversely to the direction of travel of the endless belt between an interference position with the obstacle on the surface of the endless belt and a non-interference position wherein the object does not interfere with the obstacle. The toy includes a detector which detects when the object is in the interference position with the obstacle and which disconnects the drive diverter-transmission from driving the endless belt when the obstacle is in the interference position. If the drive diverter-transmission is so disconnected a manual reset is actuated to restart movement of the endless belt.

    摘要: A game which can be used by either a sole player or preferably two players using the game in a competitive spirit is constructed to include within a housing a movable member. Upon activation, preferably by the first player, the movable member travels down a guide path from a first position to a second position. The second player then attempts to strike the movable member with a striking member. If the second player's movements are coordinated with the motion of the movable member and the movable member is struck at the appropriate time, a chance wheel is activated. The first player then controls the chance wheel by depressing a chance wheel stopping button which stops the chance wheel such that one of a plurality of indicia is exposed indicating the outcome of the second player's effect on the movable member. This outcome is then recorded on an accumulator for maintaining a record of the game. The movable member and the striking member are operatively connected such that the striking member is only capable of effectively striking the movable member when the movable member is in a predetermined striking position.

    摘要: An aim is to produce a suitable foreign protein in egg white in transgenic birds at levels equivalent to or higher than the expression levels achieved using an ovalbumin promoter or an actin promoter, and to reduce the great burden on birds by reducing the expression at sites other than the oviduct while achieving expression sufficient to predict the expression levels before the birds reach sexual maturity. Provided is a transgenic bird containing a nucleic acid base sequence in chromosome in a cell that forms the oviduct, the sequence containing: (a) an avian endoplasmic reticulum chaperone promoter; and (b) a nucleic acid base sequence encoding a suitable foreign protein, functionally linked to the promoter. Also provided is a method for producing a suitable foreign protein, including recovering the suitable foreign protein from the transgenic bird. Further provided is a method for producing a transgenic bird, including introducing a nucleic acid base sequence into a chromosome in a cell that forms the oviduct, the sequence containing: (a) an avian endoplasmic reticulum chaperone promoter; and (b) a nucleic acid base sequence encoding a suitable foreign protein, functionally linked to the promoter.
