摘要: Whereas pull lines are utilized for installing electric wires in electrical conduit between junction boxes by attaching a pull line to the open end of a high-speed line carrier closed by an elastomer molded bulb of specific dimensions relative to the type and size of conduit and in which the hollow core device is slightly smaller in diameter than the conduit through which it travels, said combination of hollow core and molded bulb fashioned to complementary conduit creating physical characteristics, including a frictionless seal, allowing same to travel through conduit at high speeds, measurable in feet per second with little resistance, in response to a vacuum created at opposing end of conduit, or in response to a driving force of air applied at insertion point of same, or in response to a combination of these means. Additionally, usage on larger scale applies to waste disposal networks with same results.

摘要: This invention is a skid or pallet that arrives at a “using location” with a pre-installed hermetically integrated base sheet, produced from a flexible packaging material. It is built, such that one of several methods of securing any given asset to the skid can be utilized in a fashion that eliminates the possibility of compromising the integrity, or air-tightness, of the base sheet. An asset(s) can be secured to the invention rapidly with minimal labor expenditures without worrying about, precision registration of machine feet with skid bolts or the dangers associated with manual guidance of equipment over protruding bolts. This invention can reduce the amount of time spent in the preparation of an asset for export shipment or placement into long-term storage multi-fold; due to the elimination of measuring, punching, drilling, calking and alignment operations all of which will save money and enhance employee safety protection.

摘要: A night vision device includes an image intensifier tube and a fiber optic screen disposed in operative relationship to each other. The fiber optic screen includes a longitudinal bundle of multiple optical fibers, where the bundle has an outer surface. A groove is formed in the fiber optic screen and extends transversely to the longitudinal bundle. An indicator is positioned adjacent to the outer surface of the bundle and is proximate to the groove, where the groove is configured to redirect light emitted from the indicator for viewing by a user. The groove may be formed circumferentially around a portion of the outer surface of the longitudinal bundle. The groove includes a surface of end portions of multiple cut optical fibers, and the groove is configured to redirect the light emitted from the indicator toward the user by way of the end portions of the multiple cut optical fibers.

摘要: An adjustable support for cable tray installation. The support includes first and second posts, the posts being adapted for securement to a building surface. The support further includes an elongated bracket having a generally centrally located hinge and first and second generally opposing legs. The legs of the bracket engage the posts along at least one predefined engagement region. The support further includes a first securing mechanism located in the engagement region for locating the bracket with respect to the post during installation of the cable tray. Finally, the support includes a second securing mechanism for fixing the location of the bracket with respect to the posts upon final positioning of the cable tray.

摘要: A bushing includes an interior surface, an exterior surface, a first end, and a second end. An end face forms at least part of each of the first end and the second end. At leaset one of the exterior surface and the end face includes a sealing surface formed at least in part of a coating including a material having a hardness level greater than about 1200 Knoop. The sealing surface has a thickness greater than about 35 microns and an average roughness (Ra) less than about 0.25 micron. In one embodiment, the bushing may be used on an endless track for a track-type work machine.
