摘要: When a sensitivity of film used for photographing is less than a predetermined sensitivity, or when an external light brightness measured by a photometry means is more than a predetermined brightness, a strobe exposure is controlled to decrease gradually from 0 EV flash, wherein a standard strobe exposure can be obtained, to -1 EV to -2 EV to -2 EV . . . . On the other hand, when the external light brightness is less than the predetermined brightness, the 0 EV flash is performed compulsively regardless of the film sensitivity, and the ratio of the strobe exposure becomes high, so that the exposure contribution rate of the external light is relatively lowered. As a result, the spectral characteristics of the external light source have small effect on the image surface when the high-sensitivity film is used, and the color fading caused by the spectral characteristics of the external light source can be prevented.

摘要: A heater for heating a liquid in which the electrical contact between a PTC thermistor and electrode plates is surely realized, and the thermal coupling and the thermal efficiency are excellent. In a case 1, an internal space 13 has an opening 14 at one side portion, and the whole of the periphery of the case is closed except the opening 14. A pair of electrode plates 21 and 22 have projections 211 and 221 on faces 212 and 222, and are housed in the internal space 13 of the case 1 in such a manner that their other faces 223 are opposed to heat radiating faces 11 and 12. The PTC thermistors are disposed between the electrode plates 21 and 22 in such a manner that projections 211 and 221 are contacted with the electrodes 32 and 33, respectively. Thermal conductive fillers 41 and 42 made of a resin are charged between the electrodes 32 and 33 of the PTC thermistors 3 and the electrode plates 21 and 22 so as to fill the gaps which are formed by the projections 211 and 221.

摘要: An ultrasonic wave nebulizer for converting water or liquid to mist has a disc-shaped piezoelectric vibrator (1) which has a pair of surfaces one of which is defined as an operation surface. A mesh (3) is located close to said operation surface so that a gap (G) or a thin water or liquid film is defined between the mesh and the operation surface. The gap spacing is smaller than the diameter of water drop which is composed by surface tension of water when no mesh were located. Upon excitation of the vibrator with high frequency, the water film is converted to mist. Fresh water is supplied in said gap spacing through capillarity. The exciting frequency is almost the same as the resonant frequency of the vibrator. The present nebulizer is useful for a small atomizer which operates with small power consumption.

摘要: This invention relates to a control system for controlling equipment provided inside a vehicle utilizing a speech recognition apparatus inside the vehicle. This control system includes an in-phase component detector (4) for detecting an in-phase component of voice signals from microphones (1), a phase shift and in-phase component detector (5) for shifting a phase of the voice signals to detect an in-phase component, and a command seat discriminator (6) for comparing output levels of the in-phase component detector (4) and the phase shift and in-phase component detector (5). In addition, the control system includes validity/invalidity detector (7) for determining the validity and invalidity of a command content resulting from outputs of a speech recognizer (3) based upon a signal generated from the command seat discriminator (6), and a various controller (8) that controls any one of various pieces of equipment with respect to the valid commands output from the validity/invalidity detector (7) to reliably discriminate commands from the driver's seat and the passenger seats in a noisy vehicle.

摘要: A lens driving apparatus is provided with an encoder for detecting the position of a taking lens system. The encoder has a contact array including a main contact corresponding to a predetermined focal length position of a taking lens system and a sub-contact which is spaced slightly from the main contact. When a focal length changeover switch is operated to set the taking lens system in the desired focal length position, a motor is driven at a high speed until the sub-contact is detected and thereafter is driven at a low speed until the main contact is detected. So as to stop the taking lens system at the focal length position always after moving in one direction, when the taking lens system is to move in the other direction for changing over from a first to a second focal length position, the motor is driven at a high speed to move the taking lens system in the other direction until the encoder switches off the sub-contact corresponding to the second focal length position after detecting that sub-contact, and then the motor is driven at a low speed to move the taking lens system in the one direction until the associated main contact is detected. The taking lens system may be stopped when an end of a main contact is detected, and is moved into the predetermined focal length position that corresponds to the opposite end of the main contact when the shutter release button is operated.
