    摘要: Disclosed are a method and apparatus for measurement report for the decision of transmission mode transition that obtain a threshold value of reporting CQI_difference of all frequency sub-bands; measure a CQI value at each CQI reporting frequency sub-band of whole frequency band in each measure time interval; determine a CQI_difference value based on the measured CQI value of each CQI reporting frequency sub-band; and compare the determined CQI_difference value with the threshold value, if a condition is satisfied, then the UE sends the determined CQI_difference value to the BS. After the UE has reported this measurement report to the BS, the BS may choose a more suitable data transmission mode for the UE based on this measurement report to make data transmission more effective.

    摘要: An apparatus and method for HARQ timing control in wireless communication systems is disclosed. The apparatus and method provides one unified algorithm to determine HARQ timing, with consideration of the downlink-to-uplink ratio, the presence of legacy zones, support of relay zones, and variable transmission time interval length. The disclosed algorithm guarantees sufficient processing time, at both the transmit and receive sides. Further, retransmissions occur in a periodic manner, simplifying the implementation.

The present invention uses comparatively shorter bit sequence to indicate CQI report sub-bands needed to be reported and reduces the number of information bits necessary for CQI report sub-bands and also reduces the number of information bits corresponding to the CQI values in the CQI report sub-bands.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for transmitting control information of a small block size with high reliability in a mobile communication system supporting uplink packet data service are provided. A 6-bit Absolute Grant indicating an allowed maximum data rate for uplink packet data transmission is generated and a 16-bit User Equipment Identifier Cyclic Redundancy Check is generated by combining a Cyclic Redundancy Check with a User Equipment Identifier. The User Equipment Identifier specific Cyclic Redundancy Check and 8 tail bits are added to the 6-bit Absolute Grant and the added bits are encoded at a coding rate of 1/3. The resulting 90 coded bits are rate-matched according to a predetermined rate matching pattern and transmitted to a User Equipment. The rate matching pattern is {1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 11, 12, 14, 15, 17, 23, 24, 31, 37, 44, 47, 61, 63, 64, 71, 72, 75, 77, 80, 83, 84, 85, 87, 88, 90}.
