Abstract:
A connector spring includes a ring and a plurality of protruding segments protruding radially out from the ring. Each protruding segment of the plurality of protruding segments includes a first spring finger extending out from the protruding segment and a second spring finger extending out from the protruding segment. The first spring finger and the second spring finger angularly extend away from each other on a first side of the ring. The connector spring further includes a plurality of dimples protruding out on a second side of the ring.
Abstract:
A fitting for use with channel framing including an outer surface and a fitting groove formed in the outer surface includes a base comprising an inner face, an outer face, and sides extending between the inner face and outer face. The base is configured for insertion into the fitting groove of the channel framing. A spring member is mounted on the base and disposed generally above the outer face of the base. The spring member is configured to engage the outer surface of the channel framing when the base is inserted into the fitting groove. The base and the spring member form a clamp for securing the fitting in the fitting groove.
Abstract:

The a blocking member assembly body includes an obstruction portion and a lacunar portion. The blocking member assembly is movably disposed adjacent to a movable operation contact carriage and a ground contact carriage. The blocking member assembly body is movable between a first position, wherein the blocking member assembly body obstruction portion is disposed in the path of the ground contact carriage, a neutral position, wherein the blocking member assembly body obstruction portion is disposed in the path of the ground contact carriage and the operation contact carriage, and a second position, wherein the blocking member assembly body obstruction portion is disposed in the path of the operation contact carriage.
Abstract:
An edge-lit light fixture includes a first edge-lit light guide panel that has a first light guide. The edge-lit light fixture also includes a second edge-lit light guide panel that has a second light guide. The edge-lit light fixture further includes a center spine that has a protrusion. The first edge-lit light guide panel and the second edge-lit light guide panel are positioned on opposite sides of the protrusion. The protrusion separates a narrow edge of the first light guide from a narrow edge of the second light guide. A portion of the protrusion is positioned below the first light guide and the second light guide.
Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a wiring device with integrated DC output interfaces alongside AC output interfaces. The wiring device converts AC power received from the grid into DC power that can be used directly by DC loads. In certain example embodiments, the wiring device includes USB receptacles as the DC output interfaces. The wiring device also includes various power management enhancement features. Some such features include crimping and soldering electrical wires directly to the AC output contacts and a midframe for insulating certain components inside the wiring device from heat generated by other components.
Abstract:
A fusible switch disconnect includes a fuse, a primary switch connected in series with the fuse. and a semiconductor switch device connected in parallel with the fuse. The semiconductor device is configured to resist current flow through the fuse and the primary fuse to facilitate arcless operation of the primary switch when connected to energized, DC circuitry.
Abstract:
An isolator protection device can include a housing flaying at least one wall and a first coupling feature, where the at least one all forms a cavity, where the first coupling feature is configured to couple to an arrester, and where the at least one wall is configured to house an isolator body of an isolator within the cavity. The isolator protection device can also include a securing device disposed within the cavity, where the securing device is configured to secure a stud of the isolator to the isolator body during normal operating conditions.
