Abstract:
A memory card with multiple interface functions is provided. The memory card comprises a multiple interface controller, comprising at least a USB processor, MMC/HS MMC processor and SD processor, and each processor individually connected to a data r/w controller and a shared interface bus, the data r/w controller connected to at least a data-storage medium, and shared interface bus connected to a computer system or IA product. The function of a mode detector/switch is used for detecting the compatible transmitting mode of the connected computer system or IA products, and to switch shared interface bus to match USB processor, MMC/HS MMC processor or SD processor for application. Thus, selecting transmitting mode between data r/w controller and the computer system or IA products connected thereto, the present invention does not only economize on the usage of card reader but also could be applied to various transmitting interface devices and enhancing on its user-friendly performance.

A driving circuit of a fan includes a magnetic pole sensor for generating a magnetic pole sensing signal, a first waveform generator coupled to the magnetic pole sensor for generating a first waveform according to the magnetic pole sensing signal, a second waveform generator for generating a second waveform, a comparison circuit coupled to the first waveform generator and the second waveform generator for comparing the first waveform and the second waveform for generating a third waveform, a control signal generator coupled to the comparison circuit for generating a control signal according to the third waveform and an external signal, and a current generator coupled to the magnetic pole sensor and the control signal generator for outputting current to a coil of a stator of the fan according to the magnetic pole sensing signal and the control signal.

The present invention provides a method and system for displaying digital video. The CPU configures a space in the main memory for entries to record the displaying information in accordance with a video source in sequence and transfer the corresponding video data of the entries to the main memory. The flip controller informs the display controller to access the video data in the main memory in accordance the displaying information of the entries, and the display controller output the video data in the main memory to display in a screen.
Abstract:
A method of installing a driver for a plug and play device is provided, wherein the plug and play device includes a main function device and a storage device meeting a standard specification. The storage device stores a driver required by the main function device. The main function device and storage device may be connected to the host in two different ways after the plug and play device is installed to the host. The first way is to connect the two devices to the host simultaneously. The host loads a built-in standard driver for the storage device from the host to access the storage device, and then loads the driver required by the main function device from the storage device to gain freely access to the main function device. The second way is to connect the storage device to the host, and to cause the host to copy the main function device driver from the storage device to the host's storage device (e.g., a disk drive). Next, the main function device is connected to the host. At this time, the host can directly load the copied driver for the main function device and retrieve the device accordingly.

A motor driver has a plurality of output circuits each having an upper side switch and a lower side switch connected in series for supplying a current to a motor. The motor driver includes a current detection resistor connected in series with the plurality of output circuits in common for detecting a current supplied to the plurality of output circuits, a position detection circuit for outputting a position signal corresponding to a position of a rotor of the motor, a current command generation circuit for generating a target current command signal based on the position signal and a predetermined phase angle in which a phase angle of the target current command signal is determined by the predetermined phase angle, and a space vector modulation based logic control circuit for commanding a plurality of output circuits that are set in a plurality of switches states for control of an electric motor.
Abstract:
A Universal Serial Bus (USB) compound device and the method for implementation thereof are disclosed. The USB compound device does not include an embedded hub but simulates a hub by a circuit or firmware. Therefore, a set of independent function devices are able to connect to a USB bus via the same set of USB logic, and the production cost can be reduced without affecting the function of the device and the facility of expansion and plug-and-play function.
Abstract:
A method for driving a brushless DC motor is disclosed in accordance with the present invention. Firstly, a driving control signal is generated based on sensed information of a motor rotor's magnetic field distribution. The driving control signal is inactive in the case that four rotor magnetic arcs are rotated more or less than critical positions of the rotor corresponding a stator. At that time, no magnetic fields are produced from the motor's stator, and thus the rotor rotates by inertial force. In another case, the driving control signal is issued in a conventional manner.
