The second retainer portion extends from the first retainer portion and is spaced apart from the housing. The second retainer portion defines a channel. The channel, the second retainer portion, and a surface of the housing defines an injection pocket.

摘要: An electric power steering apparatus is configured to provide steering assistance as rotary torque of a driving toothed-pulley fixedly fitted to a rotary shaft of an electric motor is transmitted through a toothed belt to a driven toothed-pulley that rotates together with a ball screw nut in an integrated manner. The electric power steering apparatus is configured such that the amount of axial travel of a rack shaft is limited when a rack end and a housing come into contact with each other in the axial direction. The electric power steering apparatus includes a tilt allowing portion configured to cause the ball screw nut to tilt relative to a ball screw shaft such that the distance between the center of rotation of the driven toothed-pulley and that of the driving toothed-pulley increases when the rack end and the housing come into contact with each other in the axial direction.

摘要: Provided are a method of manufacturing a hollow rack bar including a rack portion that is engaged with a pinion gear and faces supported by a yoke easily and accurately, and the hollow rack bar. The hollow rack bar (10) includes: the rack portion (21) engaged with the pinion gear (29); and the supported faces (23) provided on a back side of teeth of the rack portion (21) and supported by the yoke (31). The rack portion (21) is formed by locating a toothed mold (39) on an outer face of a circular tube material, and inserting a cored bar (41) into the circular tube material to pressurize an inner face, thereby transferring a shape of the toothed mold (39). The supported faces (23) are formed by removal processing or deformation processing of a back side of the teeth rack portion (21) of the circular tube material.

摘要: The present application discloses a steering assistance device, including: a motor configured to output a drive force in accordance with a steering force applied to a steering shaft; and a speed reducer including: a gear section configured to rotate and oscillate in accordance with the drive force; an outer cylinder having an internally toothed ring formed thereon, the internally toothed ring being configured to mesh with the gear section; and a carrier configured to rotate in accordance with rotation and oscillation of the gear section and output a steering assistance force to a steering mechanism, the steering mechanism being configured to steer vehicle wheels in accordance with rotational operation applied to a steering wheel. The engagement ratio between the gear section and the internally toothed ring is from 25 to 100%.

摘要: The damper device includes the shaft, the large diameter portion housing and the impact absorbing member. When the large diameter portion does not apply an impact force on the flange portion, the elastic body is disposed at one of the inner peripheral surface of the housing and the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical portion having a gap and when the large diameter portion applies the impact force on the flange portion, the elastic body is deformed in an axial direction to be deformed and is brought into contact with all of the inner peripheral surface of the housing, the restricting surface, the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical portion and the flange portion. The impact receiving member is restricted from a relative movement relative to the housing by the deformed elastic body and the impact receiving member keeps a non-contact state with the housing.

摘要: A sensor device includes a plurality of sensor elements and an output circuit in one sensor part, and a correction value calculator in an ECU, which obtains output signals from the sensor part and calculates an offset correction value based on a plurality of signal values that correspond to a detection value when a calculability condition is satisfied. The ECU also includes a control calculator that performs a calculation based on the corrected signal values that have been corrected by the offset correction value. Therefore, the offset correction value is calculated in view of an aging and an accuracy variation of the components used in the sensor device. In such manner, the detection value is appropriately corrected for the calculation.
