摘要: According to the present embodiments, it is possible to provide a steer-by-wire type steering apparatus which: limits a steering wheel operation of a driver within a maximum rotation angle, thereby increasing steering feel for the driver; prevents a clock spring installed on a steering wheel from being damaged, and enables parts to be manufactured and processed more easily; enables simple assembly; has small interference with surrounding parts, and thus the apparatus can be designed in various structures; and is advantageous in terms of packaging.

摘要: A steering linkage structure of a rear wheel device may include a housing receiving a screw nut integrally and rotatably connected to a driving motor, a steering shaft inserted in the housing and having a lead portion coupled to the screw nut that rotates and being movable left and right in the housing by the screw nut, and linkages coupled to the steering shaft to connect both ends of the steering shaft to rear wheels, in which coupling portions where the linkages are coupled to the steering shaft are inserted and protrude into and out of the housing, such that when a bending load is applied, the coupling portions support the bending load and are in contact with the housing.

摘要: Provided is a shaft member capable of minimizing the occurrence of noise by positively attenuating vibration acting on a metal shaft member having spline grooves and spiral grooves axially formed therein. To attain such an object, a shaft member includes a metal shaft main body having a hollow portion and a ceramic material serving as a vibration absorbing member which fills the hollow portion of the shaft body with no gaps. The ceramic material is filled into the hollow portion of the shaft main body in a powder, granular, or fluid state, and formed within the hollow portion into a shape matching the hollow portion.

摘要: A rear wheel steering device steers rear wheels of a vehicle by using two electric motors. When the two electric motors are in normal condition, both electric motors are driven to steer the rear wheels. When one electric motor is in an abnormal state while the other electric motor is in a normal state and when a vehicle speed exceeds a given speed, the steering device controls steering of the rear wheels by using only the other electric motor being in normal condition. Since the employed electric motors are small-sized and inexpensive, the rear wheel steering device can be downsized and provided at a relatively low cost.

摘要: An electrically operated power steering apparatus has a housing, a pinion rotatably supported in the housing, the pinion being adapted to be connected to a steering shaft, a rack shaft axially movably disposed in the housing and held in mesh with the pinion, an electric motor disposed coaxially around the rack in the housing, and a ball-and-nut mechanism disposed on the rack shaft in the housing for transmitting a torque produced by the electric motor as an axial displacement to the rack shaft. The electric motor has a stator fixedly mounted in the housing and a rotor rotatably supported in the housing by a pair of bearings mounted on respective opposite ends of the rotor, the ball-and-nut mechanism being coupled to the rotor. A rack guide is disposed in the housing behind the pinion remotely from the ball-and-nut mechanism and held in sliding contact with the rack shaft. The rack shaft is axially slidably supported in the housing by the ball-and-nut mechanism and the rack guide.

The worm gear comprises a spindle nut that is arranged coaxially relative to the longitudinal axis, that is connected in terms of driving to the rotor, and that is located on a spindle that is displaceable by way of the hollow shaft motor along the longitudinal axis. The angle of inclination of the worm gear may be less than 4.5°.
