In some cases, the punch holder can be configured with one or more upper and lower collars operatively situated on differing areas of the holder, with each collar adapted to perform a different action with regard to a punch held by the holder. In some cases, when the upper collar is rotated, a corresponding height adjustment of a punch held by the holder results. In some cases, when the lower collar is rotated, a punch held by the holder is released.

    摘要: A retain-and-release member, which is coupled to a punch holder of a punch assembly, engages a punch tip against an end of the holder, such that a working portion of the tip extends from the end. A punch guide sidewall of the assembly includes an aperture aligned with an actuation interface of the retain-and-release member, when the punch holder and the engaged punch tip are slidably engaged within a guide bore formed by the punch guide sidewall. The aperture provides access for applying a force, to the actuation interface, in order to disengage the retain-and-release member from the punch tip, while the punch holder remains within the guide bore of the assembly. Following the removal, the same punch tip, or another, may be inserted into the guide bore and into engagement with the retain-and-release member.

The guide bodies are designed to ensure a secure interaction in at least one retaining relative circumferential position while allowing release of the punching die from the guide housing in the gripping force direction in a release relative circumferential position displaced relative to the retaining relative circumferential position in the circumferential direction about the longitudinal axis. As a result, an unwanted release of the punching die from the guide housing is securely prevented.

    摘要: A hole punch device that reduces the force required to create a hole in papers or other sheet media. A punch element of the hole punch device includes a locally sloped or indented floor to create a bend in the sheet media as it is punched to create an enlarged, oval hole. The punch pin may include an expanding sleeve surround the pin that forms a larger diameter during the cutting stroke and springs back to a smaller diameter during a pull out stroke. A coiled torsion return spring is positioned remotely from and non-coaxially with the punch pin. A keyed pin and support frame arrangement ensures a predetermined rotational orientation of the pin for sequential cutting for reduced cutting force. A long lead-in surface in the frame helps installing sheet media into the feed slot of the punch element.

    摘要: The invention provides the possibility of incorporating various fixed punching stations within a single compact frame, being applicable especially to the punching of holes in the flanges of angular profiles. The punching cylinders to which the punches and punch-holders are fastened, as well as the dies and the die-holders fastened to the compact frame, allow the punching of holes at the different radial distances required in the flanges of said angular profiles. It is possible since the punch-holders and die-holders have varying eccentricities in their respective seats for the punches and dies. It is possible to select pairs of punches and dies having same eccentricity. The punch-holders and the die-holders are equipped with means for angular positioning in the respective cylinder and the compact frame.
