    摘要: In a joint mechanism as a pipe joint, an indicator ring is disposed between an end of a tightening cap and an outer wall portion of a body. The indicator ring is made up from a flat section that abuts against the body, an inclined section on an outer circumferential side of the flat section, and a protrusion formed on an outer edge portion of the inclined section. The protrusion is formed in parallel along an outer circumferential surface of the tightening cap. When the tube is connected, the inclined section is pressed by the end of the tightening cap, whereby the inclined section becomes substantially coplanar with the flat section. Concurrently, the protrusion projects toward an outer circumferential side of the inclined section.

The fitting (1) comprises a nut (5) having a passage (6) therethrough for receiving the tubing (2) and at least one retainer (7) arranged in the nut (5), wherein the retainer (7) has a retainer sealing surface (8) for placement in a valley (4) of the corrugated tubing (2). The fitting (1) further comprises a body (9) having a pointy annular body sealing edge (10) arranged so that the apex (11) of the body sealing edge (10) is pressed against the retainer sealing surface (8) when the nut (5) and the body (9) are forced toward each other. A method for connecting corrugated tubing (2) to a fitting (1) comprising a nut (5), a retainer (7) and a body (9) and use of a fitting (1) is also disclosed.

    摘要: A pipe joint made of synthetic resin includes: a joint body including a male screw portion on an outer circumferential portion; and a union nut including a female screw portion formed on an inner circumferential portion such that the female screw portion is tightened onto the male screw portion of the joint body. An outer circumferential surface of the joint body has a projection portion that is integrated therewith and projects radially outward. An inner circumferential surface of the union nut has a convex or concave engagement portion that is integrated therewith and engages with the projection portion when the union nut is tightened up to an appropriate position.

An outer joint portion for coupling the outer pipe is formed by: a sleeve which is to be pressingly fitted into an outer-pipe end portion; an outer-pipe joint body which is to be fitted onto the end portion; and an outer-pipe union nut. The inner-pipe union nut and the outer-pipe joint body are formed integrally into a nut-equipped body.

    摘要: Thin-walled pipe joints can include a first pipe and a second pipe. The first pipe includes a hollow pin member positioned at about an end of the first pipe. The second pipe includes a hollow box member positioned at about an end of the second pipe. The hollow box member is further configured to at least partially surround the pin member of the first pipe. The joint also includes a first ring placed adjacent an end of the hollow pin member and a second ring engaged with the box member. The second ring substantially axially abuts against the first ring and the first ring substantially axially abuts the box member. The second ring further generally extends from the first ring in a direction opposite to the end of the pin member adjacent to the box member.

    摘要: A swage visual indicator for a fluid coupling is disclosed and related methods. The swage visual indicator is achieved by a non-destructive visual indication of a swaging process by one or more swage apertures formed through a flange filled with an indicator material. The swage apertures communicate with swaging grooves of the fluid conveying components being joined. As the swaging process is conducted, the swaging grooves are filled with material from one of the fluid conveying components, and the indicator material within the aperture(s) is therefore displaced in a direction toward the exposed exterior surface of the flange. According to a successful swaging process, the indicator material is displaced to a degree such that the indicator material is visible by the unaided eye of an inspector.

    摘要: A screw connection device for connecting the flared ends of two pipes includes a nut, a screw and distance element which comprises a first recess or shape for accommodation of the flare at the end of a first pipe, and a second recess or shape for accommodation of the flare at the end of the other pipe. The nut and screw each accommodate one pipe end with the distance element between them with the recess at each end in sealing contact with the pipe flares. The nut and/or the pipe flare of the pipe end which in the connected state is accommodated in the nut comprise positive-fit elements, which positive-fit elements are designed such that the accommodated pipe end is secured against rotation relative to the nut.
