    摘要: An evaporative HVAC apparatus is disclosed. In at least one embodiment, the apparatus provides an at least one absorbent wicking layer having a first surface and an opposing second surface, and an at least one thermal layer also having a first surface and an opposing second surface. The second surface of the at least one thermal layer is formed immediately adjacent to the first surface of the at least one wicking layer. An at least one fluid line is in fluid communication with the at least one wicking layer. Thus, a fluid is selectively delivered to the wicking layer through the at least one fluid line which, in turn, permeates the at least one thermal layer and evaporates into the air located immediately adjacent the exposed first surface of the at least one thermal layer, thereby affecting the temperature of the air.

    摘要: A computer room air conditioner (CRAC) unit includes a housing having an inlet configured to receive IT air and an outlet configured to exhaust treated air. The CRAC unit further includes a heat exchanger supported by the housing and disposed between the inlet and the outlet of the housing and at least one fan module supported by the housing. The at least one fan module is configured to draw IT air into the housing through the inlet, direct IT air through the heat exchanger, and exhaust treated air through the outlet. The CRAC unit further includes an airfoil frame secured to the housing at the inlet of the housing.

The methods further include directing heat from the heat pump circuit to at least one of the plurality of terminals and heating air at the at least one of the plurality of terminals using the heat directed from the heat pump circuit. The methods can further include utilizing sources and sinks of the heat pump circuit to efficiently provide the heating or cooling. Systems include the heat pump circuit, terminals, heat distribution, and can include a controller to operate those components.
