Abstract: A control system having a pressure regulator, first pilot, and second pilot. The pressure regulator has a fluid inlet, fluid outlet, and actuator assembly with a cavity divided into a first chamber in fluid communication with the fluid outlet and a second chamber. The first pilot has a first setpoint and the second pilot has a second setpoint, less than the first setpoint. The first and second pilots fluidly couple the second chamber to the fluid outlet and isolate the second chamber from the fluid inlet in a first mode of operation, isolate the second chamber from the fluid outlet and fluid inlet in a second mode of operation, and fluidly couple the second chamber to the fluid inlet in a third mode of operation.

Abstract: A balanced farm tap regulator includes a valve housing having a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet connected by a fluid passageway. A valve seat is disposed in the fluid passageway. A removable balanced plug assembly includes a valve stem having a stem balanced fluid passage, a disk that cooperates with a valve seat to control fluid flow, and a stem guide that is removably attached to the valve housing. The disk includes a disk balanced fluid passage that is fluidly connected with the stem balanced fluid passage. The stem guide is removably attached to the valve housing, the stem guide including an inwardly extending guide flange and an externally extending guide flange. The inwardly extending guide flange cooperates with the valve stem to form a balance chamber, and the stem balanced fluid passage is fluidly connected to the balance chamber and to the disk balanced fluid passage.

Abstract: Multidirectional vent limiting devices for use with fluid regulators are described. In some examples, a vent limiting device includes a housing having an interior surface, a fluid inlet, a fluid outlet, and a first fluid passageway in fluid communication with and located between the fluid inlet and the fluid outlet. The interior surface includes a first sealing surface that defines a portion of the first fluid passageway. In some examples, the vent limiting device further includes a stem and a poppet. In some examples, the stem is rigidly coupled to the interior surface of the housing. In some examples, the poppet includes a second sealing surface that defines a portion of the first fluid passageway, and a radial bore that defines a second fluid passageway in fluid communication with and located between the fluid inlet and the fluid outlet. In some examples, the poppet is slidable along the stem between an open position and a closed position. In some examples, the second sealing surface contacts the first sealing surface when the poppet is in the closed position to close off the first fluid passageway.

Abstract: An internal valve includes a valve stem disposed in a valve body, a poppet valve coupled to the stem, and a bleed valve coupled to the stem. The valve stem is shiftable from a first position in which the poppet valve and the bleed valve are closed, to a second position in which the bleed valve is open, and a third position in which the bleed valve is closed and the poppet valve is open, and the poppet may shift closed in response to a pressure change. The valve body includes a shoulder that is arranged for sealing engagement with a container flange and is between an inlet and a flange of the valve body and spaced away from the inlet. The shoulder is arranged on the valve body to place the inlet a desired distance away from the inner wall of the fluid container.

Abstract: An internal valve including a valve body, a poppet valve coupled to the valve body, a bleed valve, a stem slidably disposed in the valve body and operatively coupled to the bleed valve. The stem is shiftable from a first position wherein the poppet valve and the bleed valve are both closed, to a second position wherein the bleed valve is open, and a third position wherein the bleed valve is closed, the poppet valve is open, and the poppet valve may shift toward the closed position and the bleed valve may open in response to a pressure change. A spring seat is coupled to the stem via a retaining feature such that the spring seat is movably disposed in the valve body, and a spring is operatively coupled to the stem via the spring seat and configured to bias the stem toward the first position.

Abstract: An emergency shut-off valve includes a valve assembly positioned within a valve body and an actuator assembly operatively coupled to the valve assembly. A poppet is coupled to a shaft having a retaining member positioned within a slot in an arm of the poppet to prevent the poppet from being removed from the shaft. A gland has a first slot, a second slot opposite the first slot, where the first and second slots are configured to receive an end of a torsion spring, and a flange. An O-ring is positioned within a recess in the valve body at the outer surface to engage the flange to provide a seal between the gland and the valve body.
