摘要: This control device for a gas turbine connected to a power generator capable of linking to a power system is configured to be able to switch operation modes of the gas turbine between a normal operation mode in which the gas turbine rotationally drives the power generator and a reverse power operation mode in which the gas turbine is rotationally driven by the power generator actuated as a motor by receiving power from the power system, the control device comprising: an index acquisition unit configured to acquire an index indicating the pressure ratio of a compressor of the gas turbine; and a signal output unit configured to output a signal for protecting the compressor when the index becomes less than a threshold value while the gas turbine is operating in the reverse power operation.

摘要: A method and system for detecting a functional failure in a power gearbox, includes a) measuring operational data in a gas turbine engine of operational parameters dependent on power generation and power consumption of the engine or the gearbox, b) obtaining analyzed operational data including time data, angular data of rotation, frequency data and/or phase data, c) using the analyzed operational data in a comparison with stored baseline operational data to determine deviation data, d) determining time dependent trend data from the deviation data or determining a first state measured dependent on the power generation, power consumption or power regulation of the engine and measuring a second state dependent on vibrational data of the engine, e) generating a signal and/or a protocol for controlling the gearbox, and/or the engine based on the time dependent trend data, if a threshold is exceeded or based on the first or second states.

摘要: In one embodiment, a turbine monitoring system includes a temperature measurer configured to sense a temperature of steam to be introduced to a steam turbine, and output a sensing result of the temperature. The system further includes an electrical output measurer configured to sense an electrical output of a generator driven by the steam turbine, and output a sensing result of the electrical output. The system further includes a computing module configured to compute an erosion quantity of a moving vane of the steam turbine with water drops, based on the sensing result of the temperature that is output from the temperature measurer and the sensing result of the electrical output that is output from the electrical output measurer. The system further includes an outputting module configured to output information that is based on the erosion quantity computed by the computing module.

摘要: The present disclosure provides methods and systems for determining a synthesized engine parameter of a gas turbine engine. An initial model parameter is obtained from an onboard model associated with the gas turbine engine. A correction factor for the onboard model is determined by modifying a difference between the onboard model and an aero-thermal model of the gas turbine engine using first and second engine parameters and first and second operating conditions, wherein the first and second engine parameters are independent from one another over an operating envelope of the gas turbine engine. The initial model parameter is scaled by applying the correction factor thereto to obtain a corrected model parameter. The corrected model parameter is output as the synthesized engine parameter.

摘要: A method for in-flight monitoring of the health of an aero gas turbine engine including in flow series a compressor system, a core gas generator including a combustor, and a turbine, and further including a shaft system connecting the turbine to the compressor system and forming a torque path there between. The method includes: measuring a first rotational speed of a forward portion of the shaft system; measuring a second rotational speed of a rear portion of the shaft system; measuring other operational parameters of the engine; calculating from the measured rotational speeds the power delivered by the torque path from the turbine to the compressor system; calculating from the other measured operational parameters the power delivered to the turbine by the core gas generator; correlating the power delivered by the torque path at a given time with the power delivered to the turbine at that time.

A driving side of the gearbox being driveably connected with at least one propulsive fan, with at least one mechanical fuse in the drive shaft assembly enabling a controlled disengagement of at least one engine part from the drive shaft assembly in case of a mechanical failure of the gas turbine engine or a part thereof and at least one load stop for bearing a load, in particular an axial or radial load in case of the mechanical failure of the gas turbine or a part thereof. A first mechanical fuse is positioned in a torque carrying shaft or a torque carrying part of a shaft, in particular in a torque bearing coupling between the shaft and the gearbox.

摘要: A method of developing a suggested blend repair to an airfoil includes the steps of: (a) storing history with regard to a particular airfoil in a particular engine; (b) taking information with regard to new damage to the particular airfoil; (c) reaching an initial blend recommendation based upon step (b); (d) assessing whether the initial blend recommendation of step (c) would be appropriate to repair the new damage based upon a consideration of steps (a)-(c); and (e) reporting a final blend recommendation. An airfoil repair recommendation system is also disclosed.
