    摘要: According to first aspect, a flow control valve comprises outer hollow cylinder and an indexing member. The hollow cylinder comprises a pressure port, a tank port, a first port and a second port on the curved surface. The indexing member comprises an inner cylinder, and is fit to the hollow part of the outer cylinder. When the inner cylinder is at a first relative position with the outer cylinder, the pressure port is connected to the first port and tank outlet is connected to the second port. When the inner cylinder is at a second relative position with the outer cylinder, the pressure port is connected to the second port and tank outlet is connected to first port. According to another aspect, a system for controlling a movement of a piston in an actuator may comprise an indexing valve, an actuator and a pump. The actuator comprises piston and piston rod. The indexing valve comprises outer cylinder and indexed inner cylinder. The pump is used to inject pressurized fluid. In one embodiment, piston is moved in one direction by the pressurized fluid when the indexed inner cylinder is at first index. In another embodiment, the piston is moved in other direction by the pressurized fluid when the indexed inner cylinder is at second index position.

    摘要: A bi-directional flow control valve includes a two-port housing, and a hollow cage within the housing. The hollow cage has rows of cross-sectional holes that communicate with the ports. A hollow compensating spool is slidably arranged within the hollow cage between the cross-sectional holes. Pressure differential between the ports induces movement in the compensating spool. This movement causes the compensating spool to reduce the opening of one row of cross-sectional holes and increase the opening of the other. In this manner, the valve provides consistent flow control characteristics in each flow direction.

    摘要: A speed-reducing valve assembly is provided in an air passage through which compressed air is discharged when a pneumatic actuator is decelerated. The speed-reducing valve assembly comprises a three-way valve actuated by a signal generated when the actuator has reached the point where deceleration is started, a relief valve through which the compressed air in the passage is let out when the air pressure has reached the preset level, and a check valve that allows only the admission of compressed air into the same passage. The signal-actuated three-way valve brings the air passage of the actuator into communication with the passage in which the relief valve and check valve are provided. When the signal generated when the actuator has reached the deceleration starting point is fed to the speed-reducing valve assembly, the exhaust passage of the actuator communicates with the relief valve and check valve. If the pressure in the actuator is lower than the desired level, the check valve opens to introduce a fluid of the desired pressure through the pressure-reducing valve. If the inside pressure is higher, the air is discharged through the relief valve. Thus the pressure in the exhaust-side pressure chamber of the actuator is always maintained at the desired level. The piston of the actuator is therefore rapidly and smoothly brought to a stop at the desired point.

    摘要: A pump control system characterized in that the pressure drop across a variable area orifice embodied in a directional control valve for a fluid motor is utilized to vary the displacement of the pump so that the fluid motor is actuated at desired speed irrespective of variation of pump speed and motor load. The system is further characterized in that it embodies a power limiting device which senses increasing motor load pressure to decrease the displacement of the pump as the horsepower requirement approaches the maximum available horsepower. Yet a further characterizing feature of the present system is the provision of a pump de-stroking valve which is disposed in the pump output circuit upstream of the directional control valve to provide a bypass to the reservoir to maintain standby power drain at a low value.
