摘要： The invention is directed to a process for the preparation of an encased snack comprising in this order the steps of (1) providing crumb material, (2) forming the crumb material under pressure to produce a shell, (3) introducing a filling into the shell, (4) forming a cover of crumb material on the filling in the shell under pressure, and (5) optionally baking the thus formed assembly. 摘要： The present invention provides a cartridge for a beverage preparation system, the cartridge comprising an inlet for the introduction of an aqueous medium into the cartridge, an outlet downstream of the inlet for the discharge of a beverage from the cartridge and a flow path connecting the inlet to the outlet, wherein the flow path includes within it a non-gelled beverage liquid concentrate containing about 0.01 to about 5 weight % in total of one or more thickeners. The cartridge may comprise an aperture having a cross-sectional area of 2 mm2 or less downstream of a chamber in which the beverage liquid concentrate is loaded. The beverage concentrate may comprise methyl cellulose and at least one alginate in a weight ratio of 1:5 to 5:1 to provide improved the organoleptic properties such as mouthfeel.

摘要： A flexible packaging bag is closed at one end by means of a header having a removable outer header portion and an inner header portion (16A) both of which are sealed. The seal in the inner header portion is peelable. An elliptical aperture is defined in the outer header portion. The aperture is dimensioned to enable the insertion of one or more fingers and is offset proximal to a first side edge of the outer header portion. The aperture is used to suspend the bag from a display hook at an angle and can be grasped as an aid to tearing when removing the outer header portion.
