    Abstract: A network device comprising a chassis, a plurality of fiber optic adapters, a plurality of arrangements of interior fiber optic cables, and a plurality of stacked cable management trays. The chassis includes a front panel with a plurality of front fiber optic adapter openings. The chassis defines an interior space. The plurality of front fiber optic adapters is disposed in the front fiber optic adapter openings. The plurality of arrangements of interior fiber optic cables is disposed within the interior space. A first end of each interior fiber optic cable is directly connected to a corresponding one of the plurality of front fiber optic adapters. The plurality of stacked cable management trays each support one of the plurality of arrangements of interior fiber optic cables. The plurality of stacked cable management trays is configured to route a second end of each interior fiber optic cable to a corresponding side fiber optic adapter.

    Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for early detection of fan failure in a computing device, such as a server. A management device located in the computing device or remote from the computing device can receive information about the fan duty and use the fan duty information to determine a safe fan speed below which future or imminent fan failure can be inferred. The management device can receive the current speed of the fan and compare it with the safe fan speed to determine if the fan is likely to fail, in which case the management device can direct the computing device to perform mitigation action and/or a maintenance warning can be sent. The maintenance warning can result in replacement of the failing or soon-to-fail fan.

    Abstract: A system and method for booting a computer system is disclosed. Code is loaded from a minor BIOS image stored on an electrically erasable programmable read-only memory (EEPROM) to a cache of a central processing unit. The central processing unit executes the code from the minor BIOS image to initialize a system memory. A major BIOS image is accessed from a remote site via a controller. Code from the major BIOS image is loaded to the system memory. The code from the major BIOS image is executed via the central processing unit to boot an operating system.

    Abstract: A method for converting a computing device from a first configuration to a second configuration is provided. A power supply unit of the computing device is moved from a first location at a second end of the computing device to a second location at a first end of the computing device. The power supply unit is rotated such that a power interface of the power supply unit is visible from the first end of the computing device. A set of fans of the computing device is rotated such that airflow direction of the set of fans matches an airflow direction of the power supply unit at the second location. Converting the computing device from the first configuration to the second configuration can allow communication ports to be accessed from a front end or from a rear end of the computing device.

A docking station is located in the interior receptacle. The server also includes a PCIe module coupled to the docking station by a coupling element.     Abstract: An electronic device includes an indoor positioner and a positioning engine server. The indoor positioner has an antenna array including a plurality of antenna units. The storage unit stores the load current, the battery temperature and the cycle number. The processing unit operates a charging procedure. The charging voltage value corresponding to the working threshold interval is selected to be the main charging voltage value, and the DC voltage that is identical to the main charging voltage value is used to perform a constant voltage charge for the battery unit.
