Abstract: A wound therapy system includes a canister configured to contain fluid removed from a wound site, a primary conduit having a first end coupled to the canister and a second end coupled to the wound site, and a pump fluidly coupled to the wound site via the primary conduit. The pump is configured to apply negative pressure to the wound site via the primary conduit. The system includes a pressure indicator configured to indicate a negative pressure at the pressure indicator and a secondary conduit having a first end coupled to the pressure indicator and a second end coupled to the wound site such that the negative pressure at the wound site is fluidly transmitted to the pressure indicator via the secondary conduit. A blockage in the primary conduit causes the negative pressure indicated by the pressure indicator to differ from the negative pressure applied by the pump.

Abstract: A wound dressing includes a hydrophilic foam layer, a drape layer, superabsorbent projections, and printed indicators. The hydrophilic foam layer is configured to engage a wound bed and has a first side and a second side, the second side configured to face the wound bed. The drape layer has a first side and a second side, the second side configured to face the first side of the hydrophilic foam layer. The plurality of non-contiguous superabsorbent projections are fixed to and extend from the first side of the hydrophilic foam layer towards the second side of the drape layer. The one or more non-contiguous printed indicators surround one or more of the plurality of superabsorbent projections.

Abstract: In some non-limiting examples, a system for stimulating tissue growth at a tissue site may include a porous foam and a moisture barrier. The porous foam may include an exterior-facing surface, a tissue contact surface, and a plurality of struts positioned at the tissue contact surface. The plurality of struts may be configured to contact the tissue site and to create tissue deformation at the tissue site without the application of a reduced pressure. The moisture barrier may be configured to cover the exterior-facing surface of the porous foam and to trap moisture at the tissue site. Also provided are other systems, apparatus, and methods suitable for stimulating tissue growth.

Abstract: A flip-top cap (83) for dispensing a flowable dental substance which is monolithically formed of a thermoplastic material. The flip-top cap has a base (4) from which a dropper nose (8) protrudes and a closure that is hingedly connected to the base for pivoting between a closed position, in which the closure closes the dropper nose, and an open position, in which the dropper nose is uncovered from the closure. The closure has an end wall (20) forming an outward planar end face (21) and, opposite thereof, an inner face (22) that has a sealing bulge (23). The end wall forms a first thickness (T1) between the vertex of the sealing bulge and the end face and a second thickness (T2) between a marginal area adjacent the sealing bulge and the end face. The ratio between the first and second thickness is between 1.4 and 1.6.
