A map transmission system and a method thereof are disclosed. The system includes a database, a sender, and a receiver. The database stores at least one map data. The sender generates a map frame data based on the map to be transmitted and converts the map frame data into a vector map data through the database, and then the sender transmits the vector map data to a remote site via a network. The receiver receives the vector map data and displays the vector map data by using a map engine application program.
Abstract:
A direct conversion satellite tuner is fully integrated on a common substrate. The integrated tuner receives an RF signal having a plurality of channels and down-converts a selected channel directly to baseband for further processing. The integrated tuner includes on-chip local oscillator generation, tunable baseband filters, and DC Offset cancellation. The integrated tuner can be implemented in a completely differential I/Q configuration for improved electrical performance. The entire direct conversion satellite tuner can be fabricated on a single semiconductor substrate using standard CMOS processing, with minimal off-chip components. The tuner configuration described herein is not limited to processing TV signals, and can be utilized to down-convert other RF signals to an IF frequency or baseband.

An adapter mount for attaching to a fitting tube includes an adapter tube having an outer circumferential surface; a first expandable ring placed on the outer circumferential surface of the adapter tube and comprising of elastic material for expanding and fitting to the inner surface of the fitting tube; an adjustment ring configured to be threaded to the adapter tube to generate a rotational threading force; a compression ring for translating the rotational threading force from the adjustment ring to a longitudinal compressing displacement of the first expandable ring, causing an outer surface of the first expandable ring to fit to the inner surface of the fitting tube; and a stop attached to the adapter tube for preventing the adjustment ring from separating from the adapter tube.

A radio navigation system for use with an automobile audio device is provided. The radio navigation system includes a positioning receiver having a modulation transmitter and receiving a positioning signal, wherein the modulation transmitter converts the positioning signal into a modulated signal and then transmits the modulated signal; a demodulation receiver mounted in the automobile audio device, receiving the modulated signal and converting the modulated signal into a voice signal to the automobile audio device; and an output device outputting the voice signal and the positioning signal.
Abstract:
A mobile communication device is provided. The mobile communication device comprises a processing unit, a battery unit, a solar cell unit, an electronic switch circuit and an analog to digital converter (ADC). In the mobile communication device, the solar cell unit receives a light and thus a luminance and transforms the luminance into an analog voltage. The ADC is configured to convert the analog voltage into a digital voltage. The processing unit is used to transmit a control voltage according to the digital voltage. In response to the control signal, the electronic switch circuit is controlled to turn the solar cell unit on or off and the solar cell unit provides all, a portion or none of a working current required for the processing unit according to the action of the electronic switch circuit. In addition, a luminance value may be generated according to the light received by the solar cell unit so that a user may be aware of the light quality of the ambient environment, thereby preventing himself/herself from reading under a poor light source environment thus protecting his/her eyesight from being damaged.

A direction control device and method for game software on handheld electronic devices is provided. The main structure comprises a displacement vector detection module, a central process module and a storage module. With an acceleration sensor of the displacement vectors detection module to detect the apparatus' direction moving vector and an analogical/digital data converter to convert the vector to digital vector data, comparing with the data from the storage module and determining the direction moving information based on the comparison result, it outputs the direction information to the game software to improve the difficult control defect caused by control keys miniaturized to smaller and smaller of handheld electronic apparatus nowadays
Abstract:
A pointer pen which is disclosed includes a rechargeable battery, a switch, a light-emitting element, and an interface unit including a voltage transforming and charging circuit and a USB connecter. The USB connector may be plugged into a USB port of a device (e.g., laptop computer) when the battery run down. Thereafter, an external power is supplied to the voltage transforming and charging circuit for voltage transformation through the connection between the USB connector and the USB port. The transformed voltage is then supplied to the battery for charging. The pointer pen has a prolonged operating time and is capable for being charged quickly in a convenient way when its battery runs down while a lecture is given.

A communication system includes a wireless network service, a bound telephone device, and a handheld communication device. In this case, the bound telephone device couples with the wireless network service, and the handheld communication device has a wireless network search module and a call divert module. The wireless network search module detects the wireless network service. When the wireless network service is detected by the wireless network search module, the call divert module executes a call divert setup to divert a call from the handheld communication device to the bound telephone device. In addition, a handheld communication device and a method for automatic call diverting are provided.

A telephone tone setting system and method allows a speaker to set the tone of a receiver. The system includes an authorization control module, a setting module, a receiving module, a number comparing and judging module and an audio broadcasting module. The authorization control module is located in the receiver to control acceptance of tone setting from the speaker. The setting module is located in the speaker for setting the tone of the receiver and mating the phone number of the speaker and the corresponding tone. The receiving module detects and receives the phone number of a phone connecting to the receiver. The number comparing and judging module compares and determines whether the detected phone number matching the phone number of the speaker. When the phone numbers match, the audio broadcasting module broadcasts in the receiver the tone corresponding to the phone number of the speaker.

The present invention provides processes for preparing freeze-dried platelets, freeze-dried platelets made by those processes, platelets reconstituted from those freeze-dried platelets, and kits comprising those freeze-dried platelets. The freeze-dried platelets of the invention have similar characteristics to fresh platelets, have an exceptionally long shelf-life, and can be used for all standard procedures in which fresh platelets are used, including both in vitro diagnostic and research procedures and in vivo therapies.
