摘要： A water soluble analgesic composition includes a plurality of granules. Each of the granules includes a substrate core and a coating disposed on the substrate core forming an agglomerated product, the coating including a salt of an analgesic, but substantially no particles of a non-salt form of the analgesic. The composition may be created by a method including the steps of: (i) providing a first solution comprising a base, (ii) adding an analgesic to the first solution to create a second solution including a salt of the analgesic, (iii) filtering the second solution to remove residual particles of the analgesic to create a filtered second solution, and (iv) spray drying the filtered second solution onto a substrate to form an agglomerated product having a plurality of granules.

摘要： A method of increasing low temperature lumen maintenance of an electrodeless lamp whose glass body has an interior surface with red emitting Y2O3:Eu (YOE) phosphors and green emitting (Ce,Tb)MgAl11O19 (CAT) phosphors thereon, includes coating aluminum oxide directly on the CAT phosphors and/or the YOE phosphors (preferably at least the CAT phosphors). The interior surface of the glass body may also have blue emitting BaMgAl11O17:Eu (BAM) phosphors thereon. The low temperature lumen maintenance is a ratio of (a) lamp lumens at a first number of lamp operating hours to (b) lamp lumens at a reference number of lamp operating hours, when the lamp is operated with a bulb wall temperature of 35° C. or lower.

摘要： According to an embodiment of the invention, a patch antenna includes a patch coupled to a ground plane. The ground plane includes a first and second strip line. When the first strip line is activated, the antenna generates a signal having a first polarization, and when the second strip line is activated, the antenna generates a second polarization. The first polarization may be a horizontal polarization, and the second polarization may be a vertical polarization. The antenna may be incorporated into a radio frequency identification (RFID) interrogator, which may be used to read RFID tags attached to individual items.

摘要： A vending machine has a nonvolatile data storage device for storing transactions with customers. The customers may use a number of cashless options to make purchases from the vending machine, including magnetic credit or debit cards, or universal vending cards. The transactions are stored on the storage device and later retrieved either locally or remotely. The security of the data is enhanced by requiring separate passwords for the data storage device, access to the data storage device, and, optionally for the vending machine controller. In addition, the data is inaccessible should the storage device become separated from the controller.
