    Abstract: A method and system for mobility latency reduction in a hierarchical NR architecture is provided. In an embodiment, a method in a network component for handover of a UE includes configuring, by the network component, at least one TRP determined according to UE mobility information. The configuring the at least one target TRP is performed prior to the UE moving into a border area between the at least one target TRP and a first serving TRP. Configuring the at least one target TRP results in the at least one target TRP being configured to act as a secondary serving TRP to the UE. The method also includes configuring at least one target TRP and the UE with corresponding dedicated access resource and monitoring opportunities. The method also includes activating a connection and data communication between the UE and the at least one pre-configured secondary serving TRP.

    Abstract: A grant-free resource configuration method and an apparatus are provided. The method includes: listening to, by a terminal device, a physical downlink control channel on a paging occasion by using a grant-free resource configuration identifier; and obtaining, by the terminal device on the physical downlink control channel or a physical downlink shared channel indicated by the physical downlink control channel, grant-free resource configuration information sent by a network device. In this grant-free resource configuration solution, the terminal device listens to a physical downlink control channel on a same paging occasion by using different identifiers, and obtains grant-free resource configuration information. A configuration occasion is preset, to ensure that the grant-free resource configuration information can be effectively received by the terminal device. In addition, the grant-free resource configuration identifier is used, to facilitate grant-free resource configuration for the terminal device.

    Abstract: A method includes generating a preamble for a protocol version of a wireless local area network, where the preamble includes a legacy signal L-SIG field and a high efficiency signal HE-SIG field that are arranged in order, the HE-SIG field includes a first orthogonal frequency division multiplexing OFDM symbol and a second OFDM symbol that are arranged in order, and an input information bit of the first OFDM symbol is the same as that of the second OFDM symbol, and sending the preamble to a receive end device, so that the receive end device restores the preamble, and when determining that input information bits obtained after restoring the first OFDM symbol and the second OFDM symbol are the same, determines that the preamble is the preamble of the protocol version.

    Abstract: The present application discloses a subband switching method, including: determining, by a network device, a target subband to which user equipment is to switch; sending, by the network device, identification information of the target subband to the user equipment; determining configuration information of the target subband according to the identification information of the target subband; and switching, by the user equipment, to the target subband according to the configuration information of the target subband. In the subband switching method provided in embodiments of the present application, switching between subbands can be implemented, so that when the UE has a subband switching requirement, the user equipment can be instructed to switch to a target subband. Therefore, service quality of the UE is improved.

    Abstract: An embodiment of this application provides a power control method. The method includes: receiving, by a first node from a second node, first power control information associated with a first resource pair link; and sending, by the first node, a first signal to the second node by using a first transmission resource corresponding to the first resource pair link, where transmit power of the first signal is obtained based on the first power control information. An association relationship is established between power control and a resource pair link, so that power control on a resource pair link granularity can be implemented, different power control can be performed based on different channel features, and more accurate transmit power is obtained. In addition, various signals are transmitted on resources corresponding to different resource pair links, so that different power control values can be set for the various signals. In this way, interference can be reduced while correct reception is performed, and a significant gain may be made on network communication quality.
