摘要： A thermal printer includes a chassis, a thermal head secured to the chassis and a platen roller which is rotatably supported in the chassis and movable relative to the thermal head. The platen roller is rotated by first platen driving mechanism, while being moved toward and away from the thermal head by second platen driving mechanism. When the platen roller is moved to contact with the thermal head via an ink ribbon intervened therebetween, a data or image is printed on a printing medium fed between the platen roller and the ink ribbon.

摘要： A video printing apparatus including a thermal head and accommodating an ink ribbon cartridge having a plurality of color blocks. The apparatus has a subsidiary head which records an identification mark on the color blocks when used in a printing operation. The identification mark is recorded on a predetermined portion of the color block which is not used in a printing operation. A sensor is provided for detecting the identification mark recorded on the used color blocks.

摘要： An electromagnetic fuel injector comprising a fixed iron core, a solenoid formed by winding a coil around the fixed iron core, a coil holder fixed to the solenoid, an injector casing surrounding the solenoid and the coil holder and formed of a material having high magnetic permeability, a movable iron core inserted between the fixed iron core and the injector casing, a compression spring normally biasing the movable iron core toward an injection nozzle of the injector, a valve body connected at its base to the movable iron core and formed with a flange at a base portion thereof, a stopper adapted to abut against the flange of the valve body and restrict a movable range, a valve housing incorporated in a front portion of the injector casing and slidably supporting the valve body, the valve housing being formed at its front end portion with a valve seat adapted to abut against the valve body, and a radiation member closely fitted on an outer periphery of the injector casing. A connection member may be provided connecting a plurality of injectors mounted on cylinders in a multi-cylinder engine for radiating heat generated in the injectors.

摘要： A vapor phase epitaxy apparatus having a processing chamber with a target workpiece such as a wafer being received therein is disclosed. This apparatus includes a first flow path which supplies the chamber with a gas needed for vapor phase epitaxial film formation on the wafer, and a valve unit for controlling the gas flow in the first flow path. The apparatus also includes a second flow path for supplying into the chamber a cleaner gas for cleaning of the interior of the chamber, and a third flow path for exhaust of residual gases within the chamber. The valve unit has a series combination of two-stage valves with a pressure switch being provided therebetween. An irregular gas mixture avoiding method for use with the apparatus is also disclosed.
