Abstract: A broadcasting signal reception device may include a reception unit for receiving, through the broadcasting network, a broadcasting signal including a first component of a DASH content which can be received through a broadcasting network and a broadband network; a delivery module for de-capsulating the received broadcasting signal, outputting LCT packets transmitted through one or more LCT channels, and parsing signaling information used for acquiring segments corresponding to the first component of the DASH content included in the LCT packets; and a decoder for decoding the acquired segments.

Abstract: A method of processing data in a digital receiving apparatus, the method including receiving a broadcast signal including low level signaling data, wherein the low level signaling data is carried via a specific data pipe (DP), wherein the low level signaling data includes service category information, the service category information is used to identify an AV service, an audio only service or an ESG (electronic service guide) service, wherein the low level signaling data is used to provide bootstrap information that allows the receiving apparatus to discover at least one service layer signaling information, wherein the bootstrap information includes URL data for a first service layer signaling information when the first service layer signaling information is transmitted via a broadband network, and wherein the bootstrap information includes a destination user datagram protocol (UDP) port number and a destination internet protocol (IP) address for a second service layer signaling information when the second service layer signaling information is transmitted via a broadcast network; and parsing the low level signaling data included in the broadcast signal, wherein the low level signaling data is parsed, and then the first service layer signaling information or the second service layer signaling information is processed.

Abstract: A digital receiver for processing a broadcast signal includes a receiving module configured to receive the broadcast signal. Further, the broadcast signal includes service components of a broadcast service, service layer signaling (SLS) information for the broadcast service and a service list table for providing bootstrap information, and the service components include at least one of audio or video data. Further, the bootstrap information is different based on a type of delivery protocol of the SLS information, and the type of delivery protocol corresponds to either a Real-time Object delivery over Unidirectional Transport (ROUTE) protocol or a Moving Picture Experts Group (MPEG) Media Transport Protocol (MMTP). The digital receiver also includes a processor configured to process the service list table, the SLS information and the service components of the broadcast service.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus for supporting hybrid broadcasting in a digital broadcasting system. The present invention provides an apparatus for receiving a broadcast content via one or more networks. The apparatus comprises a broadcast network interface for receiving a broadcast stream including a first portion of the broadcast content via a broadcast network; a heterogeneous network interface for receiving a heterogeneous stream including a second portion of the broadcast content via a heterogeneous network; and wherein the broadcast stream further includes timeline reference signaling information containing metadata for synchronizing streams transmitted via the one or more networks, and wherein the timeline reference signaling information includes at least one timeline reference information reconstituting timeline of at least one of the broadcast stream and the heterogeneous stream, a processor for configuring the broadcast content using the broadcast stream and the heterogeneous stream based on the timeline reference signaling information. The present invention is effective in easily synchronizing transport streams transmitted through each of heterogeneous networks.

Abstract: A broadcast transmitter for processing a broadcast signal is discussed. The broadcast transmitter includes a packetizer to generate transport packets based on a Layered Coding Transport (LCT) format, wherein the transport packets are used to transport at least one delivery object and signaling data; and a transmitter to transmit the broadcast signal comprising the transport packets, wherein the signaling data includes a real-time attribute which is a boolean flag that is set to true when the transport packets carry a real-time content that is comprised of the at least one delivery object, and wherein a header of at least one transport packet of the transport packets includes codepoint information for indicating a type of a payload that is carried by the at least one transport packet, transport object identifier information for identifying the at least one delivery object, and information for identifying a starting position of a fragment of the delivery object carried in the at least one transport packet.
