    摘要: Systems and methods of the present disclosure provide for dynamic delay equalization of related media signals in a media transport system. Methods include receiving a plurality of related media signals, transporting the related media signals along different media paths, calculating uncorrected propagation delays for the media paths, and delaying each of the related media signals by an amount related to the difference between the longest propagation delay (of the uncorrected propagation delays) and the uncorrected propagation delay of the related media signal/media path. Calculating the uncorrected propagation delays and delaying the related media signals may be performed in response to a change to the propagation delay of at least one of the related media signals/media paths. Additionally or alternatively, calculating the uncorrected propagation delays and delaying the related media signals may be performed while transporting the related media signals.

    摘要: Provided is an audio video synchronizing apparatus and method in a video processing equipment. It is detected whether or not an external device connected to an audio/video output port of the video processing equipment is an audio system, and an audio signal synchronized with a video signal outputted to a display device of the video processing equipment is provided to the audio system through an audio output port when the detection result shows that the external device is the audio system. Accordingly, a vide signal on a screen is synchronized with an audio signal outputted from the audio system.

    摘要: The disclosure concerns a procedure for insertion of samples representing digital data from a first source having a first bit rate in a digitized signal from a second source having a second bit rate, wherein the second bit rate is greater than the first bit rate, and each data of the first source is associated with at least one sample of a series of samples at the second bit rate, the samples being presented to a polyphase filter for which a set of coefficients is associated with a specific phase error previously introduced by said associations, the filtered samples being included in the digitized signal. The invention also includes a device that implements the above insertion procedure. The invention is applicable notably in the field of insertion of Teletext data into a digitized video signal.

    摘要: A difference vector determination element used in an apparatus for coding motion vector includes register memories (PMV) of which number is equal to sum of maximum transmission numbers N and M of forward predictive and backward predictive motion vectors. Motion vector counter counts the number of transmission of motion vectors to output a motion vector count signal. Register index designation signal generator designates indices of (1.about.N (N+1).about.(N+M)) in order of transmission of forward predictive or backward predictive motion vectors on the basis of attached information such as motion compensation mode, prediction type, and picture structure, etc. of motion vector, and the motion vector count signal from the motion vector counter to allow switch to perform switching operation, thus allowing register memories (PMV) and motion vectors to have one-to-one correspondence relationship. Difference circuit determines a difference between a motion vector inputted thereto and a value taken out from register memory (PMV) caused to correspond to the motion vector on the basis of motion compensation mode, etc.
