摘要: The present invention relates to the video surveillance field, and discloses a trunk management method and apparatus for video surveillance systems. In the present invention, the connection priority of a surveillance equipment is the highest priority amon/between priorities of all clients, when multiple clients with different priorities access the same surveillance equipment. The connection priority of the surveillance equipment is set as the priority of a new client, if the new client accesses the surveillance equipment and the priority of the new client is higher than the connection priority of the surveillance equipment; the connection priority of the surveillance equipment is remained unchanged, if the priority of the new client is not higher than the connection priority of the surveillance equipment. It is all required to supply a service for each video request of the users when the network bandwidth does not reach full load; the video requests of users having lower priorities will be denied when the network bandwidth is at full load, which can more reasonably utilize the network resources based on the connection management of client priorities to avoid a congestion even a paralysis on networks.

摘要: Described herein are systems, methods and apparatus for decoding in-band on-channel signals and extracting audio and data signals. Memory requirements are reduced by selectively filtering a bit stream of data in the signal so that services of interest which are encoded therein are processed. A single pool of memory may be shared between physical layer and data link layer processing. Memory in this pool may be allocated dynamically between processing of data at the physical and data link layers. When the available memory is not sufficient to support the required services, the dynamic allocation allows for graceful degradation.

摘要: A method, computer program, and apparatus for allowing endpoints to move between zones of a packet-switched network. In the invention, a communication between local and remote endpoints are established via a first gatekeeper, which services a first zone of the packet-switched network, when the local endpoint is at a location serviced by the first zone of the packet-switched network. When the local endpoint moves to a location serviced by a second zone of the packet-switched network, subsequent to the initial hand-off, communication between the local and remote endpoints is maintained via the first gatekeeper and a second gatekeeper which services the second zone of the packet-switched network, by performing an initial hand-off communication control functions from the first gatekeeper to the second gatekeeper. When the local endpoint further moves to a location serviced by a third zone of the packet-switched network, communication between the local and remote endpoints is maintained via the first gatekeeper and a third gatekeeper, which services the third zone of the packet-switched network, by performing a subsequent hand-off of communication control functions from the second gatekeeper to the third gatekeeper.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to transmitting and receiving communications including an upgraded communication quality at a first UE and a second UE. The first UE can determine the first UE is operating using a first RAT. The first UE can also initiate a communication comprising video media between the first UE and a second UE, where a communication quality of the communication is based on the first RAT, where the second UE is operating using a second RAT supporting a higher communication quality than the first RAT. Additionally, the first UE can determine that the first UE is in coverage of the second RAT. The first UE can also indicate, to the second UE, that the first UE is in the coverage of the second RAT. Further, the first UE can adjust the communication quality of the communication to the higher communication quality for the second RAT.

摘要: A method of determining bit rates for use in encoding video data for joint decoding, is disclosed. An approximation of the video data is generated for later use as side information during a process of joint decoding. Bit error probabilities are determined for each bit plane and for each coefficient band of the approximation. The bit rates are determined for encoding the bit planes depending on the bit error probabilities, bit planes, and coefficient bands.
