    Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus for supporting hybrid broadcasting in a digital broadcasting system. The present invention provides an apparatus for receiving a broadcast content via one or more networks. The apparatus comprises a broadcast network interface for receiving a broadcast stream including a first portion of the broadcast content via a broadcast network; a heterogeneous network interface for receiving a heterogeneous stream including a second portion of the broadcast content via a heterogeneous network; and wherein the broadcast stream further includes timeline reference signaling information containing metadata for synchronizing streams transmitted via the one or more networks, and wherein the timeline reference signaling information includes at least one timeline reference information reconstituting timeline of at least one of the broadcast stream and the heterogeneous stream, a processor for configuring the broadcast content using the broadcast stream and the heterogeneous stream based on the timeline reference signaling information. The present invention is effective in easily synchronizing transport streams transmitted through each of heterogeneous networks.

    Abstract: A method for providing a broadcast service based on a broadcast network and a broadband network in a digital transmitter, includes generating multiple service components of the broadcast service and service layer signaling (SLS) information for the broadcast service; generating a service list table (SLT) for providing bootstrap information that allows a receiver to discover the SLS information for the broadcast service; transmitting a first signal comprising a first service component among the multiple service components, the SLS information and the SLT via the broadcast network, wherein the first service component is carried via a first Layered Coding Transport (LCT) channel included in a Real-time Object delivery over Unidirectional Transport (ROUTE) session, wherein the bootstrap information included in the SLT is used to represent a second LCT channel that carries the SLS information; and transmitting a second signal comprising a second service component among the multiple service components via the broadband network.

    Abstract: According to one embodiment of the present invention, a broadcast signal transmission device comprises: one or more source modules for outputting a timed media data stream and a timed metadata stream for the timed media data stream, wherein the timed metadata stream includes a position metadata stream having position information of the one or more source modules, or an orientation metadata stream having orientation information of the one or more source modules; and a transmission interface for transmitting a data signal, wherein the timed media data stream and the timed metadata stream are respectively formatted into a file format based on an ISO BMFF in sample units, and the transmission interface can transmit, through a transmission network, a data signal including an ISO BMFF file, which includes the timed media data stream and the timed metadata stream.

    Abstract: A broadcast signal transmission method includes encoding service data of a service and service layer signaling information that are delivered over a Real-Time Object Delivery over Unidirectional Transport (ROUTE) session, wherein the service layer signaling information includes Layered Coding Transport (LCT) channel information and Media Presentation Description (MPD) information for the service; encoding signaling information for one or more services including the service, wherein the signaling information includes one or more service element entries corresponding to the one or more services, wherein a service element entry corresponding to the service includes service information related to the service, and wherein the service information includes service identification information for identifying the service, first version information for indicating a change of the service information, channel information of the service and address information of the ROUTE session; and transmitting the encoded service data, the encoded service layer signaling information and the encoded signaling information.
