摘要: An aspect of the disclosure related to methods and systems configured to detect that an item of streaming primary video content associated with a channel of scheduled streaming content is designated to be streamed to a device. Ancillary content is identified. Alternative versions of respective sections of the ancillary content are identified. Metadata corresponding to the alternative versions of ancillary content, metadata corresponding to the item of primary video content, and/or metadata corresponding to the channel are used in selecting a first section from among the alternative versions of a given section. The ancillary content, including the selected first section from among the alternative versions is streamed to the device immediately before, during, or immediately after the item of streaming video content. The alternative versions may be transcoded to generate multiple encoded iterations of respective alternative versions and the encoded versions are stored in a tree data structure.

摘要: Methods, apparatus and systems related to post-production stage of a multimedia content are described. In one example aspect, a method for performing automated post-production editing includes receiving one or more machine-readable scripts corresponding to one or more scenes of a storyline. The one or more machine-readable scripts include information about multimodal data and editing instructions for each of the one or more scenes. The method also includes identifying, based on the multimodal data for each of the one or more scenes, at least one change in an audio or video feature in the multiple streams of multimedia content corresponding to the one or more scenes, editing the multiple streams of multimedia content based on the editing instructions and selectively based on the identified change, and generating a final stream of multimedia content based on the edited multiple streams.

An embodiment operates by collectively selecting, by a first device in concert with a second device of a plurality of devices in a computer network session, and in accordance with a predetermined synchronization list comprising a first and second synchronization mechanism, the first synchronization mechanism over the second synchronization mechanism such that the first synchronization mechanism is more precise than the second synchronization mechanism. The first and second synchronization mechanisms are configured to provide a synchronized playback of the at least one of the audio content and the video content.

摘要: To perform evidentiary analysis on media files generated by a video surveillance system, a media file is analyzed to determine the format of the media file. Information about that format is used to decode media files from that video surveillance system into separate streams of media data. A computer system assists a person in defining logical parameters that can be used to parse and decode a media file of a particular type and outputs corresponding format data. The format data includes data that instructs a decoder how to decode media files of that type. A second computer system that provides analysis tools includes the decoder, which receives one or more media files of a particular type and corresponding format data for that type. The second computer system can access and process each of the separate streams individually for playback or other image or media processing.
