摘要: The invention provides methods and biomarkers for assessing cardiac metabolic response to pharmaceuticals, environmental agents, chemical compounds and biologic therapies. The invention provides methods for identifying cellular metabolites secreted by primary cardiomyocytes, cardiomyocyte precursor cells, clonal cardiomyocytes derived from adult human heart, immortalized cardiomyocytes, human embryonic stem cell (hESC)-derived cardiomyocytes, human induced pluripotent stem cell (iPS)-derived cardiomyocytes, or any cell displaying cardiomyocyte-specific markers in response to exposure to pharmaceuticals, environmental agents, chemical compounds and biologic therapies that are cardiotoxic. Cardiomyocyte-secreted cellular metabolites provide metabolic signatures of cardiotoxicity, and can be used to screen pharmaceutical agents, lead and candidate drug compounds, biologics, and other therapeutics for cardiotoxic effects.

摘要: A method is provided for modeling timing characteristics of a circuit block of an integrated circuit, which includes a main circuit and a timing circuit. The method comprises determining an output pin output delay and determining a timing circuit delay. The output pin output delay is an interval of time from a clock signal reaching a clock reference point (CRP) to an output signal arriving at the output pin. The clock reference point is positioned between the timing circuit and the main circuit. The timing circuit delay is an interval of time from a clock signal arriving at a clock input pin to a clock signal arriving at the CRP. The determination of the timing circuit delay is based on a computer simulation of a netlist of circuit elements in the timing circuit.

摘要: An apparatus, system, and method are disclosed for analyzing computer events recorded in a plurality of computer datasets. The apparatus includes a read module configured to access chronicle records in two datasets, an extraction module configured to extract a timestamp from each chronicle record, a generation module configured to generate a chronicle time indicator for each chronicle record based on the extracted timestamp, and a placement module configured to place the generated chronicle time indicator into the associated chronicle record. Typically, chronicle records in a first chronicle record have records with desired timestamp characteristics while chronicle records in a second dataset have chronicle records with incompatible timestamp characteristics. The apparatus, system, and method generate the chronicle time indicator to be compatible with desired timestamp characteristics of the first dataset and place the generated chronicle time indicator in each incompatible chronicle record.

摘要: A method and apparatus for welding with an engine driven inverter power supply includes generating an ac output with an engine and generator. The output is rectified and inverted to provide an ac inverter output. The engine is controlled using feedback indicative of a welding output operating parameter. The feedback may also be taken from the inverter or generator, and the generator may be controlled instead of or in addition to the engine. Engine parameters that may be controlled include engine speed, selecting between an idle speed and a run speed, a throttle position, a fuel pump, an injection timer, a fuel to air ratio, fuel consumption and ignition timing. Another aspect of the invention is having the feedback be responsive to one or more of the welding current, welding voltage, welding power, or functions thereof. The feedback may be responsive to the current, voltage, power, ripple and functions thereof. An aux power output is derived directly from the generator and feedback from the aux load is used to determine if the engine should be idling or running at high speed.

摘要: Described is a method for the preparation of crosslinked enzyme aggregates, comprising enzyme molecules being associated with an enzyme activity-enhancing agent, the enzyme activity-enhancing agent interacting with the said enzyme molecules, comprising the steps of: A—providing a plurality of enzyme molecules, B—aggregating the enzyme molecules in a liquid medium, by means of addition of a precipitating agent, C—crosslinking the aggregated enzyme molecules to one another by providing a crosslinking agent in the liquid medium, the method comprising, during or between steps A, B or C, the step of adding an enzyme activity-enhancing agent and allowing the enzyme molecules to become and to remain associated with the enzyme activity-enhancing agent. The resulting CLEA are advantageous due to increase in activity, their suitability for recycle, enhanced stability and low requirements for additional enzyme activity-enhancing agent. Further, crosslinked enzyme aggregates are described, comprising an enzyme activity-enhancing agent associated therewith.
