    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a first base station and a second base station may be neighbor base stations and the first base station may receive, from the second base station, information relating to a multicast-broadcast services (MBS) session context of an MBS session supported by the second base station. The first base station may use the received MBS session context information to control communication or connections between the first base station and one or more user equipment (UEs) that are served by the first base station. For example, the first base station may use the received MBS session context information for target cell selection in a handover procedure, an MBS-specific measurement configuration, interference avoidance, or system information block (SIB) construction, among various other use cases.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some wireless communications systems, a user equipment (UE) may determine that its operating temperature exceeds an overheating condition threshold temperature, reducing overall device performance. To address the overheating condition, the UE may transmit an uplink control message containing UE assistance information to request a reconfiguration of one or more measurement parameters. In some cases, the UE may request to reduce one or more measurements associated with radio resource management (RRM). The UE may receive a downlink control message from a base station which indicates a reconfiguration of the measurement parameters, and the UE may implement the reconfiguration to mitigate the overheating.

    Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to mobility with consideration for network slicing are provided. In one embodiment, a user equipment (UE) transmits in a first cell frequency of a network, a request for a network slice of the network that is not provided by the first cell frequency. The UE receives, in response to the request, an information for communicating in a second cell frequency of the network that provides the requested network slice. In one embodiment, a core network entity receives, from a base station (BS) operating over a first cell frequency of a network, a request to provide a network slice of the network to a UE, the network slice not provided by the first cell frequency. The core network entity transmits, to the BS, information associated with a second cell frequency of the network providing the network slice.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a master node (MN) may receive an acknowledgment message from a secondary node (SN). The MN and the SN may provide dual connectivity with a core network for a user equipment. The MN may provide an address indication message to the SN. The address indication message may include MN downlink transport network layer (TNL) information for an SN terminated data radio bearer (DRB) that requires master cell group (MCG) resources. The address indication message may be provided in a first message that immediately follows the acknowledgment message. In some aspects, the SN may receive the address indication message, and may forward, based at least in part on the MN downlink TNL information, downlink data for the SN terminated DRB that requires MCG resources.     Abstract: In some wireless communications systems, devices may support minimization of drive test (MDT) reporting, quality of service (QoS) reporting, and quality of experience (QoE) measurements. A user equipment (UE) and the serving base station may obtain measurements in accordance with a measurement configuration that indicates various triggering events or reporting adjustment factors associated with the measurements. The measurement configuration may indicate a triggering event such as the start of an application or service at the UE, and the UE may obtain MDT or QoE measurements based on identifying the application or service. Additionally, the serving base station may obtain MDT and QoE measurements based on identifying the application and service or a notification from the UE. The UE and the serving base station may identify reporting adjustment factors based on network slicing, area configurations and times of the day affecting the reporting interval and reporting amount for the measurement report.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A communication link between the UE and a serving base station may be established. The UE may measure, at an application layer of the UE, a set of quality of experience variables associated with different service types. The UE may measure, at an access stratum of the UE, a set of radio resource management variables associated with the communication link between the UE and the serving base station and a communication link between the UE and a corresponding set of one or more neighboring base stations associated with the communication links. The UE may transmit a measurement report to the serving base station indicating information associated with the quality of experience variables and the radio resource management variables in a multi-layer readable format.
