Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a communication technique for converging IoT technology with a 5G communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate beyond a 4G system, and a system therefor. A method and an apparatus for enabling inter-device profile movement using only two devices without separately carrying out identity verification or ID authentication verification are provided. The method includes receiving an input for moving a first profile installed in a first terminal, deleting the first profile on a first eUICC, generating, for data including first profile information, digital signature data of the first eUICC, and displaying data including the first profile information and the corresponding digital signature data as a QR code on a screen of the first terminal.

Abstract: A method of a local bundle assistant (LBA) negotiating a certificate with a secondary platform bundle manager (SPBM) in a wireless communication system including: transmitting a request message requesting information of certificates supported by a secondary secure platform (SSP) to a secondary platform bundle loader (SPBL) of the SSP; receiving the information of certificates supported by the SSP including information of certificate issuers corresponding to a family identifier from the SPBL; transmitting the information of certificates supported by the SSP to the SPBM; and receiving a certificate of the SPBM for key agreement, information of public key identifiers of certificate issuers to be used by the SSP, and information of the family identifier from the SPBM.

Operator specific services are permitted and provided by allowing an unauthorized terminal to search for and access the such services, and includes notifying a terminal of information corresponding to “operator specific services” by allowing a base station to broadcast predetermined information, displaying information acquired by a terminal, matching information acquired by the terminal with information broadcast from a base station to arrange services, requesting access and notifying a terminal performs an access for “operator specific services” upon accessing a network, providing a menu for determining whether neighboring base stations are capable of “operator specific services” to a user of a terminal, and allowing the terminal to determine whether there is the base station broadcasting the information.

In addition, an embodiment of the disclosure provides a method and an apparatus for configuring, by an LPA, different profile management messages according to determined ISD-R access schemes, and perform transferring through a selected ISD-R access scheme.
