    摘要: An organic light emitting diode (OLED) display comprises: an insulating substrate; common electrodes; a first electrode layer formed in a region adjacent to the common electrodes formed on the insulating substrate electrically isolated from the common electrodes; an insulating layer which coats the insulating substrate and respectively opens a first opening window exposing a part of the common electrodes and a second opening window exposing at least a part of the first electrode layer; ribs or walls which form a cell area by crossing the common electrodes on the insulating substrate and surround each of the opening windows; a material layer formed on the first electrode layer exposed by the second opening window; and a second electrode layer which coats the cell area surrounded by the ribs and is electrically connected to the common electrodes through the first opening window.

    摘要: A liquid crystal display device includes a pair of transparent substrates, a liquid crystal layer sandwiched between inner surfaces of the transparent substrates, and a pair of optical films each attached on an outer surface of the transparent substrate via a transparent adhesive layer. The transparent adhesive layer has an outer surface facing the optical film. The outer surface of each transparent substrate has a first Ra surface roughness, and the outer surface of the adhesive layer has a second Ra surface roughness which is smaller than the first Ra surface roughness. The present invention further provides a method for manufacturing the liquid crystal display device.

    摘要: In a display device having a light source and a storage for storing at least one reference frame of image data, a driving method includes receiving a current frame of image data; comparing grey levels between pixels of the current frame of image data and the corresponding pixels of the reference frame of image data; determining a pixel quantity of pixels having different grey levels in the current frame of image data and the reference frame of image data; and based on the determined pixel quantity, calculating and outputting a signal controlling a light emitting duty ratio and an amplitude of the light source while displaying the current frame. The display device further has a comparing unit and light source control unit for performing the driving method.

    摘要: A liquid crystal panel structure includes a liquid crystal panel, a plurality of first and second contact terminals, and a plurality of first and second peripheral wirings. The liquid crystal display has a display area and a non-display area. The non-display area has at least one driving chip lamination area. The first and second contact terminals are allocated in the lamination area of the driving chip. The first peripheral wirings are allocated on the non-display area, and the first contact terminals are electrically connected to the pixels of the display area. The liquid crystal panel can selectively provides allocation of two types of driving chips, such that the liquid crystal panel can be applied to single or dual display module.

    摘要: A liquid crystal display mainly includes a first substrate and a second substrate; a liquid crystal having a negative dielectric constant anisotropy between the first and second substrates; and an array of first protrusions, second protrusions and third protrusions for setting the orientation of liquid crystal molecules inside pixels to a plurality of mutually different directions. The first protrusions are formed on pixel electrodes of the second substrate. Every two of the first protrusions are arranged substantially in a V-shaped pattern. The first and second protrusions are arranged alternately and in parallel to one another. The liquid crystal display of the present invention is provided with a plurality of first capacitor electrodes each in a K-shaped pattern and a plurality of second capacitor electrodes each in a V-shaped pattern wherein the first and second capacitor electrodes and the first protrusions are formed in spatially opposed relation to one another.
