Abstract:
A printable media comprising a supporting substrate, including fibers, having an image side and a non-image side, which contains an image receiving layer coated on the image side of the supporting substrate. The image receiving layer comprises pigment fillers, polymeric binders and ink optical density enhancement agents. Also disclosed is a method for producing the textured media.
Abstract:
Techniques for storing hypervisor messages in a network packet are described. In one aspect, a hypervisor of a computing device obtains a network packet generated by a virtual machine. The hypervisor may then identify available space within the network packet that can store data relating to a hypervisor message. The hypervisor may then store the hypervisor message in the available space within the network packet. The hypervisor may cause a physical network interface controller to transmit the network packet to a destination device through a network path that includes a message logging device.
Abstract:
An example device in accordance with an aspect of the present disclosure includes a sensor die having a sensitive region and a bond pad. A bond is formed between a wire and the bond pad of the sensor die. An encapsulant is to retain the wire at the bond pad and mechanically support the wire and the bond, based on covering the bond and wire according to an encapsulant height, extending from the bond pad, greater than a bond height. The encapsulant is localized at the bond pad of the sensor die to enable the sensitive region to remain uncovered by the encapsulant.
Abstract:
According to an example, signal transmissions by a first antenna apparatus and a second antenna apparatus connected to a central processing apparatus through an Ethernet switch may be synchronized with respect to each other. An Ethernet packet containing first data and second data may be generated, in which the first antenna apparatus is to wirelessly transmit the first data and the second antenna apparatus is to wirelessly transmit the second data. In addition, the Ethernet packet may be communicated to the Ethernet switch, in which the Ethernet switch includes a first port that is in communication with the first antenna apparatus and a second port that is in communication with the second antenna apparatus, and the Ethernet switch is to communicate the Ethernet packet through the first port and a copy of the Ethernet packet through the second port substantially simultaneously with respect to each other.
Abstract:
A system of implementing switch devices in a server system. At least some of the illustrative embodiments are systems comprising a plurality of servers coupled to a midplane board, and a first and second switch slots (where each switch slot enables coupling of a switch device to the midplane board). The first and second switch slots accept switch devices one each in each switch slot, and the first and second switch slots accept a single switch device spanning both switch slots.
Abstract:
Example fluidic devices and methods are described. An example device includes a throughput chamber, an inlet to guide liquid in the throughput chamber and an outlet to guide liquid out of the throughput chamber. The example device also includes a rib that protrudes from a wall of the throughput chamber. The rib has a narrowed section in the throughput chamber between the inlet and the outlet to form a meniscus in the narrowed section.
Abstract:
Print media stacker comprising a ramp to curve printed media over an angle of between 20 and 90 degrees with respect to a media advance direction.
Abstract:
Examples provide data center canopies, data center housings, and data centers including turning vanes to facilitate air flow. In some examples, a data center canopy may include turning vanes to direct portions of an exhaust flow from an exhaust inlet toward floor sections to be output via exhaust outlets opposite the floor sections. Other examples are described and claimed.
Abstract:
An example provides a computing device including an opening including a first magnetic element, and a computing base, comprising a post including a second magnetic element attracted. The post may insert into the opening to facilitate docking the computing device to the computing base, the first magnetic element and the second magnetic element to facilitate alignment of the post with the opening.
