Abstract:
A filter device comprises a first filter mechanism and a second filter mechanism, the first filter mechanism is connected to the second filter mechanism, wherein the first filter is configured to filter disinfectants, impurities, and organic matters in water, and the second filter is configured to filter germs in the water. A faucet water purifier comprises above filter device.
Abstract:
A filter sector assembly for a disc filter, which disc filter has a fiber suspension containing bath and a core assembly adapted to rotate on a horizontal axis. The filter sector assemblies are rotatably supported with relation to the bath on the core assembly. The filter sector assemblies are spaced along the core assembly and supported on the core assembly. Each filter sector assembly (50) has two adjacent filter sectors (10A; 10B) releasably fixed to a bent support plate (30). The two adjacent filter sectors (10A; 10B) are attached as a pair of filter sectors (10A; 10B) by fastening the support plate (30) to the core assembly (21; 21A, 21B) of the disc filter.
Abstract:
A record carrier stores information readable by a processor, where the information includes main data and sub data. The sub data includes coded text lines having a plurality of character codes, where the coded text lines includes control codes for controlling the processor to display characters representing the coded text lines on a display unit configured to display at least one line of characters. The at least one line has a predetermined number character positions which is less than a number of characters in the coded text lines. A selected number of the character codes are displayable at the predetermined number of character positions of the at least one line.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a method for separating and drying microparticles initially dispersed in liquid phase comprising steps which consist in: providing a preparation comprising microparticles dispersed or suspended in liquid phase in a filtering vessel (12) arranged inside a chamber (6); filtering a fraction of the liquid phase (52) through the vessel in the chamber, and varying the temperature and the pressure in the entire chamber to freeze-dry the filtered preparation in the vessel maintained in the chamber.
Abstract:
A device for separating liquid from waste produced by milling or cutting operations, and particularly from waste arising during the milling of plastics surfaces, comprises a housing for taking up the liquid separated from the waste and a screening device communicating with this housing. The liquid containing the waste is introduced through a means for introduction into the screening device. Means for a continuous recovery of the waste are associated with the screening device, where the waste is continuously conveyed toward a recovery means associated with the screening device. The screening device and, where applicable, the housing are of cylindrical shape. The means for continuous recovery are provided as eccentrically mounted rotary-slide arrangement.
Abstract:
A solid-liquid separating apparatus comprising: a strainer which is in a cylindrical shape formed by a plurality of flat ring members with gaps in between; a casing which has an accommodating section for setting the strainer therein so that the accommodating section is divided by the strainer into a strainer inner region and a strainer outer region, and an intake port that introduces a mixture of a solid and liquid is formed in the strainer outer region and an outlet port that discharges to the outside the liquid that is separated from the solid and passes between the circular ring members and advances into the strainer inner region is formed in the strainer inner region; and a scraper that has plate-form protruding portions with tip ends thereof located in the gaps between the circular ring members of the strainer so as to scrape off the solid matter adhering to the flat surface of the circular ring members.
Abstract:
Slack end filtering tubes with tensioning members are utilized in an improved bump type filter employing a split inlet with an outlet and tube sheet at the lower slack end and a movable anchor plate at the upper end that can apply an adjustable tension to the filter tubes. The lower tube sheet is angled and has varying length connections to a plurality of filters to permit use of filter tubes of equal size. Movement of the anchor plate adjusts the lengths of the tubes by extending or shrinking the tubes to provide tension or relaxation of the tubes. Shaking the relaxed tubes removes accumulated materials to be flushed out. Tensioning of the tubes provides for filtration at the tubes. Slack end filtering tubes with tensioning members are employed in another embodiment to extract filtered liquid. A first set of filters extends outwardly from a vertical wall with a second set of filters resting along the bottom of the receiver. The housing has inlet, outlet and suction openings to supply liquid and withdraw filtered liquid.
