Abstract: The present invention is a portable sprayer with a tank and a measuring device in selective fluid communication with the tank. The measuring device may be located adjacent to a funnel at the top of the tank and a valve provided to selectively control the flow of fluid from the measuring device into the funnel. The measuring device may include a plurality of surfaces extending from the internal wall of the measuring device to provide indicia of the amount of fluid within the measuring device.

Abstract: The present invention is a dispenser adapted to be coupled to a fluid container. The dispenser comprises a dispensing head, an energy source, and a fluid pathway. The dispensing head includes a fluid pump, a motor adapted to power the pump, a trigger adapted to control the motor, and a nozzle orifice in fluid communication with a discharge end of the pump. The fluid pathway has one portion in fluid communication with an intake end of the pump and another portion inside the container.

Abstract: The dispensing system for a remote operation includes a trigger sprayer assembly removably mounted to a container of liquid to be sprayed, the assembly being mounted within a cutout section provided at the upper end of the container as part of a through opening forming the carrying handle of the container. The trigger sprayer assembly has a flexible delivery tube which may be coiled and stored within a hollow gripper handle provided on the trigger sprayer, and may extend outwardly from the gripper handle to function as a resilient element for mounting the trigger sprayer in place. A one-piece adaptor is non-removably connected to a distal end of the delivery tube and connects to the container by mounting directly to an external dip tube of the container or by mounting in a closure cap of the container.

Abstract: An airless paint sprayer includes an outlet check valve assembly having a dual spring configuration which allows for increased fluid flow through the valve without diminishing response time of the valve or the priming operations of the system. One of the springs is not engaged when the valve is closed and the other spring has a much lower spring rate and biases the valve toward a closed configuration when the valve is open, closed, and all positions therebetween. The dual spring configuration accommodates highly viscous fluids or paints with maximum fluid flow and no detrimental impact on the priming operations of the sprayer.
