摘要: An improved air compressor includes a cylinder with a piston body and an air storage container. The air storage container can be detachably mounted to the cylinder to define a primary air chamber, and an auxiliary air chamber which can reduce the motion resistance of the piston body, so that the piston body can conduct reciprocating motion in the cylinder more smoothly. Furthermore, the cylinder has an open bottom that is divided into two halves according to a central vertical line (Y) of the cylinder, wherein one half of the open bottom is horizontal while the other half of the open bottom is slanted. When the piston body reaches the bottom dead center, the head of the piston body will be entirely within the cylinder and thus keep air-tight with the cylinder. Therefore, the performance of compressing air and the operational safety can be increased.

An outlet bore is centered on an outlet bore axis and intersects the cross bore space, a plunger bore is centered on a plunger axis and intersects the cross bore space, a first angled surface is defined by the first curved edge, and a second angled surface is disposed adjacent the first angled surface such that the first and second angled surfaces cooperate to define a V-shaped groove having an exterior angle between 180 degrees and 270 degrees. An inlet spring retainer includes a first engagement portion, is orientable in a first orientation in which the retainer is movable from the inlet bore to the plunger bore and a second orientation in which the retainer engages the first and second angled surfaces to inhibit movement of the retainer.

A first V-shaped groove and a second V-shaped groove are formed adjacent the inlet bore transition area with each extending partially around the inlet bore axis. An inlet spring retainer includes first and second engagement portions and is orientable in a first orientation in which the retainer is movable from the inlet bore to the plunger bore and a second orientation in which the retainer engages the first and second V-shaped grooves to inhibit movement of the retainer from the inlet bore to the cross bore intersection space.

The valve stop retainer device (220) is adapted to be retained inside of the cross-bore fluid communication chamber (262) by the shape of the inside surface (261).

摘要: A valve seat has an inner passage and outer passages. A suction valve member has first passages and a first projection portion that guides, to the first passages, the fuel that flows from a pressure chamber at the time of valve opening. Therefore, an action force by the dynamic pressure applied to the suction valve member in the valve closing direction is reduced. An action force by the pressure of fuel that flows into pressure equalization grooves counterbalances the action force by the dynamic pressure of the suction valve member. Therefore, self-closing by the dynamic pressure can be inhibited, and the maximum output of an electromagnetic driving unit can be reduced. Fuel flow through a passage radially outside the suction valve member and the firs passages. A fluid passage area is securable even when a lift amount of the suction valve member is small.

Another method for priming a chromatography solvent pump includes providing the check valve in fluid communication with an inlet of the pump, drawing fluid through the valve into the pump, and expelling the fluid from the pump.
