    Abstract: A light sensing apparatus of a computer-type photoflash system is independently moveable with respect to an associated camera and flash unit. It includes a light responsive device, operable to sense light received from a scene being photographed and provide an electrical effect upon sensing a predetermined amount of that light, and a calculator means device, operable to set in selected values of various independent photographic variables and to display values of photographic variables dependent upon the selected values of the independent variables. The effective sensitivity of the light responsive device is adjusted in variable accordance with the selected values of the independent photographic variables.

    Abstract: The present application discloses a UV radiation monitoring apparatus, method, and system. The monitoring apparatus includes a case, an authenticator disposed on the case and configured to identify a user, a controller in the case coupled to the authenticator to enable a first mode for an authenticated user, a detector on the case coupled to the controller and configured to measure an intensity of ultraviolet radiation and generate ultraviolet index (UVI) value at the present time, a memory coupled to the controller and configured to store the UVI values over an exposure time added into historical UVI data for the authenticated user, and a display unit to display the UVI value at the present time and the personal health instructions on UV protection for the authenticated user. The monitoring apparatus further is configured to be paired with a mobile terminal for providing updated personal health instructions.

    Abstract: An optical sensing module includes a substrate, a cover, a plurality of light-emitting chips, a light-receiving chip, and a plurality of encapsulants. The cover is disposed on the substrate. A plurality of first chambers and a second chamber are formed between the cover and the substrate. The cover has a plurality of light-emitting holes communicating with the first chambers, respectively, and a light-receiving hole communicating with the second chamber. The light-emitting chips are disposed on the substrate and in the first chambers, respectively. The light-receiving chip is disposed on the substrate and in the second chamber. The encapsulants fill the first and second chambers and enclose the light-emitting chips and the light-receiving chip, respectively. Hence, characterized in that: the light-emitting chips and the light-receiving chip are disposed on the substrate, and the light-emitting chips emit light beams in different colors to enhance light emission efficiency.
