摘要: A spring link includes a link body which includes two side wall profiles which are parallel to one another at a distance and which are connected by a spring seat plate extending transversely from one side wall profile to the other side wall profile. Each side wall profile includes a side web having an outwardly directed upper collar section which extends in the longitudinal direction of the side web. The spring seat plate rests with a lateral longitudinal edge section on an upper collar section and is joined to the upper collar section. The side wall profiles of the link body are mirror-symmetrical to one another. The lower side of the link body opposite to the spring seat plate is open.

摘要: An apparatus and methods are provided for a modular front drivetrain comprising a single assembly that may be installed onto and removed from a vehicle. The modular front drivetrain comprises a modular chassis supporting a transaxle, a front differential, and a steering gear for operating front wheels of the vehicle. The transaxle, the front differential and drive axles convey torque from an engine onboard the vehicle to the front wheels. A spindle assembly is coupled with each front wheel of the vehicle and pivotally joined with the modular chassis by way of a front suspension system. Steering rods coupled with the spindle assemblies horizontally rotate the front wheels according to operation of a steering wheel onboard the vehicle. The modular front drivetrain advantageously facilitates replacing an entire drivetrain and suspension assembly quickly and easily in the event of a part failure during racing applications.

摘要: A jounce bumper of an automotive vehicle suspension system contains a longitudinal axis. The jounce bumper is configured to resiliently deform between an uncompressed state and a compressed state, where in the compressed state the jounce bumper has a smaller length in the direction of the longitudinal axis than in the uncompressed state. The jounce bumper also contains a base body that acts as a primary spring element, where the base body is partially or completely made of a volume-compressible first material. In particular, the base body further contains at least one secondary spring element integrated within the base body. The secondary spring element is resiliently deformable between a first length in the uncompressed state and a second length in the compressed state, where the second length is smaller than the first length. The secondary spring element is partially or completely made of a compact second material.

摘要: The present invention relates to a coil spring support for a vehicular suspension system, which comprises a base plate and a support column protruding from the base plate, wherein a coil spring is coupled to the support column in such a manner that the lower end of the coil spring is fitted in and coupled to a coupling groove, which is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the support column and at a position having a predetermined height from the base plate, so that the coil spring support can be auxiliarily installed on a plate spring of a vehicle so as to compensate and improve a shock absorbing capability of the existing vehicle.
