    摘要: A steered wheel support structure of a vehicle, includes a knuckle member which supports an axle of a steered wheel and a support member which is coupled to a vehicle body and supports the knuckle member from a first side in a vehicle width direction in such a manner that the knuckle member is angularly displaceable around a steering axis line, the knuckle member includes: an axle support section which supports the axle; and two supported sections disposed on both sides in the upward and downward direction, of at least a portion of the axle support section, the two supported sections facing each other and being apart from each other in the upward and downward direction, and the two supported sections are supported by the support member in such a manner that the two supported sections are angularly displaceable around the steering axis line relative to the support member.

    摘要: A damper apparatus includes a shock-absorbing member configured to absorb a shock while restricting movement of a shaft relative to a housing. The shock-absorbing member includes a shock-receiving member configured to come into contact with one member, which is one of a large-diameter portion of the shaft and a restriction portion of the housing, and a pre-compression spring disposed between the other member, which is the other of the large-diameter portion and the restriction portion, and the shock-receiving member in a state where the pre-compression spring is compressed in advance in an axial direction. The pre-compression spring is configured to urge the one member in the axial direction via the shock-receiving member when the large-diameter portion is relatively moved toward the restriction portion beyond a prescribed position.

A device introduces a controlled disturbance requiring driver compensation into a steering system of a vehicle and monitors for an expected driver compensation in response to the disturbance.
