Abstract: In a stator stack an in-slot cooling system that includes: (a) two or more conductors of a hairpin winding provided within each slot in a first group of the slots, each conductor running axially across the stator stack and being at a different predetermined radial distance from an air gap; and (b) adjacent each slot of the first group of slots at the end that is in the vicinity of the air gap, a bridge portion of the laminating material that closes the slot and forms in the stator stack substantially adjacent the conductor having the shortest predetermined distance from the air gap an axial cooling channel that allows a coolant to flow therein without leakage therefrom.

Abstract: This disclosure is directed to an X-ray security device having a main body, a conveyor, and a lead curtain. The main body has an opening. The conveyor passes through the opening and is disposed on a bottom of the opening. The lead curtain is hung on the main body and covers the opening, the lead curtain has a pair of outer modules and a central module, the pair of outer modules are arranged corresponding to two sides of a transport direction of the conveyor, and the central module is disposed between the outer modules. A lead equivalent thickness of each outer module is larger than a lead equivalent thickness of the central module, and a weight of the central module is less than a weight of each outer module.

Abstract: A leak detection sensor is disclosed for detecting a leaking liquid spilled from an adapter-coupling position, and includes a first conductive layer, an insulator and a second conductive layer. The first conductive layer includes a first through hole. The adapter-coupling position is located adjacent to the first through hole. The insulator includes a second through hole. The second conductive layer is connected to the first conductive layer through the insulator, and includes a conducting surface in fluid communication with the adapter-coupling position through the second through hole and the first through hole. The first conductive layer and the second conductive layer are insulated from each other through the insulator. When the leaking liquid is spilled into the first through hole and the second through hole, and contacts the conducting surface, the second conductive layer is conducted to the first conductive layer to form a conducting-resistance value.

Abstract: A method for gating in tomographic imaging system includes steps of: (a) performing a tomographic imaging on an object with a target moving periodically along a first axis for acquiring projection images; (b) obtaining projected curves by summing up pixel values along a direction of a second axis perpendicular to the first axis in each projection image; (c) determining a target zone on the projection images, wherein a central position on the first axis of the target zone is corresponding to a position having the largest variation in the projected curves on the first axis; (d) calculating parameter values of pixel values in the target zones and obtaining a curve of a moving cycle of the target according to the parameter values; and (e) selecting the projection images under the same state in the moving cycle for image reconstruction according to the curve of the moving cycle of the target.

Abstract: A rotary motor stator includes a plurality of stator teeth and a plurality of terminal securing blocks. The stator teeth are arranged in a ring to define a rotor accommodation space. Each stator tooth includes an inner side, a winding section and an outer side. The inner side is closer to the rotor accommodation space than the outer side, and the winding section is located between the inner side and the outer side for winding a coil. Each terminal securing block is fixed to the outer side of each stator tooth, and each terminal securing block includes a first wire slot configured to secure an end of the coil. An angle between a line passing through a center of the ring and a center of each terminal securing block and a lengthwise direction of the first wire slot is an acute angle.

Abstract: A magnetic element includes at least one primary winding, at least one secondary winding, a magnetic core, and an auxiliary winding. A winding segment or an entire of the primary winding or a winding segment or an entire of the secondary winding is defined as a parallel-connected winding set. The magnetic core includes a plurality of winding legs, two lateral legs, and two connection parts. The at least one primary winding and the at least one secondary winding are wound around each winding leg. The directions of magnetic fluxes through every two adjacent winding legs are opposite. The auxiliary winding is wound on one of two lateral legs, and electrically connected with the parallel-connected winding set. A direction of a magnetic flux generated by the auxiliary winding is opposite to a direction of the magnetic flux through the adjacent winding leg.

Abstract: A centrifugal fan is disclosed and includes a lower case, an impeller and an upper case. The lower case includes a bottom plate and a sidewall. The impeller is disposed on the bottom plate. Abstract: An origin calibration method of a manipulator is provided. The origin calibration method includes steps of: (a) controlling the manipulator to move in accordance with a movement command, and acquiring the 3D coordinates of the reference anchor points reached by the manipulator; (b) controlling the manipulator to move in accordance with the movement command while an origin of the manipulator being offset, acquiring the 3D coordinates of the actual anchor points reached by the manipulator, and acquiring a Jacobian matrix accordingly; (c) acquiring a deviation of a rotation angle of the manipulator according to the Jacobian matrix, the 3D coordinates of the reference anchor points and the actual anchor points, and acquiring a compensation angle value according to the deviation; and (d) updating the rotation angle of the manipulator according to the compensation angle value so as to update the origin of the manipulator.
